Walang Forever

«DRAKE»

I can prove that forever exist. Kaya ko naman talaga yun eh. But I can only do that if it was her beside me. I want to compete, I want to win but I don't want to win unless it is her heart. I don't want to just prove it to everyone. I want to prove it to her.

"Ayoko na! Madaya ka." She exclaimed slamming the console on the center table. She's glaring at the screen.

"Pikon na si Bae." I said grinning at her.

"Stop calling me that way. Ano ba?" She headed to their kitchen not even looking at me.

I'm in their house right now. Kinulit ko pa sya para lang pumayag na pumunta ako dito. Ewan ko lang sa kanya, pero parang kinalimutan nya yung sinabi ko last time sa Ice Cream House.

After everything that happened to her I want her to see me. I want her to notice me. Only me.

"Gusto mo?" She came out with a jar full of graham balls.

"Bakit ako aayaw? Ikaw ba may gawa nyan?" I asked habang kinukuha sa kanya yung jar.

She nodded her head giving me the jar.

"Yehey, gawa pala ni Bae ang sweet naman. Nakakakilig!" Kumuha agad ako and then she smiled at me.

But the smile she gave me.. it's different from the smile she used to give to Sir Gene. I want her to give me the same smile she gave to him—or even better than that. I want her to trust me like how she trusted that guy—or even better than that. Pero paano yun mangyayari if she won't give me a chance? Kung ang nasa isip lang nya ay yung gurang na yun na hindi man lang sya pinahalagan. Hindi man lang nagpakita o nagparamdam simula nung araw na yun. Bakla ata yun eh!

She pulled out her phone from her pocket again. Kanina nya pa ginagawa yun. Para bang naghihintay sya ng text o tawag. I wonder if it's Sir Gene. Nagkikita pa rin ba sila? Nagkakausap? Ang alam ko hindi na.. Sana hindi na. Sana ma-realize na ni Ranielle na walang kwentang tao si Sir Gene. I don't want her to have hopes anymore. Ayoko syang nakikitang ganyan. She's a strong girl. Pero dahil dun sa lalaking yun umiyak sya. Mas matanda lang sya saken pero mas gwapo at matangkad naman ako!

I looked at her.. She's just staring at her phone.

"Tara." I break the silence.

"Anong tara?" She asked confused.

"Kain tayo sa pizza hut." I said. I saw a glimpse of spark in her eyes. Halatang gusto nya.

"Bilisan mo, magpalit ka na."

She got up from her seat "Teka. Treat mo ba?"

I nodded my head.

Ang galing mo talaga Drake. Lagi mong na hi-hit yung weak point nya. You're the man! Plus pogi points to me!

After a few minutes she went down the stairs wearing a red shirt with James 23 printed in front. She's really a fan of NBA.

"Tara na." She said.

We went to Pizza Hut right away. Tahimik lang kame habang nasa byahe.

Nakikita ko kasi lagi sa office na lagi syang kumakain ng pizza kaya naisip ko baka mahilig talaga sya dun. Galing talaga ng deduction ko!

We sat on a table beside the glass wall. She just face the wall observing all the people passing by.

Ano kayang iniisip nya? Sana naman hindi na si Sir Gene. Sana iniisip nya lang kung anong masarap kainin.

"Ano pong order nyo miss?" I asked making her stop from daydreaming.

"Yung usual—" She paused na parang may narealize sya "I mean yung bacon with mushroom na madaming cheese"
