The second time trying to lucid dream the next night was much easier.
It was because he'd fallen off of a cruise ship, and into some water. His awareness came, not because he realized he could breathe underwater, but because the water didn't feel cold.
The dream had seemed fairly innocuous up to that point, in comparison with his more recent dreams. Dreams that didn't hold back with reminding him of his problems.
His family had been on a cruise ship - something Kevin was surprised didn't clue him in to him being in a dream immediately. His family didn't have a prayer of every being able to pay for a cruise.
But he'd been himself. Everything had gone fine. Until he'd started masturbating off the side of the boat.
He hated his mind.
Kevin's malicious dream family pushed him off the boat in anger.
Kevin was unsure of how his brothers would feel in real life if they knew what he was going through - Greg had caught him once, painfully, but probably didn't realize the addiction Kevin was in. The actions of his dream family, Kevin knew, were the result of his exagerrated fears.
But now the dream had to pull a fast one on him. Now he became a girl. And a mermaid too.
Of course.
He groaned, watching his pink mermaid tail swish beneath him.
He didn't know what to do. May as well have some fun.
Kevin fully embraced his new mermaid tail, and began swimming around. His mind, in contrast to its resistance last time, seemed to give him what he wanted.
The situation, before a dark ocean at night, was now a bright sunny day. He swam around a coral reef with colorful fish. Kevin giggled like a girl.
Whatever. He was giving in. He felt the arousal come. He embraced it.
As he swam around as a mermaid, trying to excite the girly desires, he felt it building.
He stopped.
If he kept doing this, it could lead to him having a wet dream. He wasn't particularly in the mood to soil his clothes.
But as he returned to swimming around, his mind imagining up phantom sensations for how it would feel to swim with the flexible tail, he felt his libido building.
But he didn't cum, in his dream or in real life.
The pleasurable sexual feeling lessened, but while decreasing in intensity, still hung around somewhat.
He saw a shape swimming between some growths of coral,
Kevin swam up to see what it was. A mermaid with a bright orange tail revealed herself.
"Hello Kelsy!" the mermaid greeted, "you look so pretty!"
He leaned into it, blushing with a smile. "Thanks."
"You make a much better girl than a boy!" the mermaid said, "don't you agree?"
"Yeah," Kevin said, feeling his arousal increase, "I'm a very pretty girl."
"It's too bad you aren't one in real life," the mermaid said, smiling.
Kevin froze. His subconscious knew that he knew he was dreaming?
"Oh I'm not your subconscious Kelsy," the mermaid smiled, "I'm kind of my own thing."
"You... you can read my thoughts...," Kevin said.
"Duh," the mermaid said, "we're inside your mind. Of course I can read your mind."
Peekaboo.
"Ahh!" Kevin shrieked at the mental intrusion.
"That's always fun," the mermaid said, "and it seems like you've been having fun too."
"I... I guess..."
The mysterious mermaid laughed. "Sexual fun is fun too."
"Not for me," Kevin said. "It's a curse. A pleasurable one, but a curse nonetheless."
"So goody two shoes," the mermaid scoffed, shaking her head.
"Okay," Kevin said, "you have to be a made up figment of my mind. You're doing the same thing I do. Berating me."
"No Kelsy," the mermaid said, "good for you, I'm not. I'm here to make your dreams come true."
Kevin looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "who are you?"
The mermaid shrugged. "I think that your modern culture would call me a 'ghost', or something. I've been around for thousands of years. Over that time, the way I've gotten good at influencing the real world is through dreams."
"What do you want from me?" Kevin asked.
"The question is actually," the mermaid-ghost said, "is what do you want from me?"
"Is this some sort of deal with the devil?" Kevin asked.
His eyes widened. "Oh my gosh, are you SATAN?"
The mermaid laughed. "Wow. You are a dramatic one aren't you? "
"You are Satan aren't you!" Kevin said, "I'm not messing around with you! I know I struggle with this problem, and I know it's horrible, but I know I have good things in me. I know that I am not a terrible person."
The mermaid rolled her eyes. "I'm not Satan. I'm not in the kind of position where I can verify if he exists - to answer that question if you had it. I'm not here to punish you or anything like that, and I'm not here to make a deal with you."
"You're... you're not?"
"No," the mermaid said. "I'm just kind of here to say hi. You've already chosen what you want. I'm just here to set it in stone before I'm on my way."
"What... what is it you're talking about?" Kevin asked.
The mermaid giggled. "Oh, I think you know. How about I give you one last bit of fun."
The awareness of Kevin being a mermaid suddenly became more real. He could actually feel his mermaid tail now. And, he felt more aware that he was a girl named Kelsy.
He felt his arousal build and build.
"Enjoy!" the mermaid said, swimming off.
He woke up.
****
Kevin felt himself cum as he woke up, and he moaned as the pleasure washed over him.
Unfortunately, he now felt his pajama shorts get soiled, and stick against his skin.
He let out a small groan. Now he'd need to change his clothes and everything.
Kevin rolled out of bed with effort, and stood up, then turned on the light. He walked over to the dresser, and grabbed a new pair of boxers, and his backup shorts.
He stuck his foot in the holes of the underwear, and then into the shorts. He pulled them up.
Kevin froze. And then he shook. Uncontrollably. He began breathing hard.
No. That wasn't possible. Things like that didn't happen!
He pulled down his pants.
Electric shock jolted through him, and kept jolting.
His penis was gone.
He was a girl.
