pov rose:

We packed our stuff back in our bags and started walking over the beach. Ruel knew this one beach shack where you can rent surfboards. 'I do have my own surfboard, but I didn't think we were going to surf today. Some of my friends don't have a surfboard as they can be quite expensive. They always rent a surfboard at this beach shack.' Ruel explained. I think Ruel knew the owner, because as soon as we arrived they greeted eachother by their names. 'Ruel, good to see you man!' The owner said. 'Angelo!' Ruel replied. They gave each other that 'bro hug'. You know, that type of hug were they first do a sort of highfive and after that they pat each others back. 'What can I do for you today?' 'We would like to rent five surfboards and five wetsuits if that's possible.' Ruel replied. 'Of course my friend. Pick any board and any wetsuit you want, $15 per hour. A special packet deal for you guys, because Ruel comes here a lot.' The owner said. There were a lot of surfboards. I started looking around and my eyes fell on a pink surfboard. I grabbed the surfboard and walked over to the wetsuits. I decided to go with a basic black one. A few minutes later everyone had picked out a surfboard and a wetsuit. 'Angelo, is it okay if we pay when we return the boards? We don't know yet for how long we're going to surf.' Ruel asked. 'Of course my friend. Have fun surfing!' The owner said. 'Thanks, see you later.' We all waved him goodbye.

Since Ruel is the only one who surfs we followed him along the beach. 'We always surf at one certain spot at the beach. I don't know why. It just became a habit, I guess. We're heading to this spot right now.' Ruel said. 'How long will that take?' Coco asked impatiently. 'Not too long, it's about 3 minutes from here.' We continued walking until Ruel stopped. 'We're here.' To be honest, this spot didn't look too different from the rest of the beach. I pulled the wetsuit over my bikini and looked behind me if the others were doing the same. The girls were, but just as I looked at Ruel, he was pulling down his swimming trunks, leaving him in his underwear. He was wearing Calvin Klein, how stylish. I saw him from behind by the way, nice ass dude. As soon as I realised I was staring I turned back around as fast as I could. Don't wanna get caught on that twice in one day, because he also caught me staring at him opening his blouse. I don't even wanna think about that moment again, because that was so embarassing. 'Y'all changed?' I asked, too scared to look behind me again. I could hear everyone say yes, so I turned around.

Ruel grabbed his surfboard and just ran into the water. I was kinda scared, but just did the same. I wanted to stay close to Ruel, since he is the professional over here. I had no idea how to surf. I decided to do whatever he did. It kinda worked. I managed to stand on the surfboard for a good five seconds. Ruel, on the contrary, had already been standing on the board for more than three minutes. I think that means he's pretty good, but he's just too modest to admit it. I looked over to the other side where the girls were surfing. I don't know if you could even call it surfing, because they were constantly falling of the board, just like me. I could hear a splash next to me, this time Ruel fell of his board. He started swimming towards me. 'How's it going?' Ruel asked. 'I'm doing fine, how about you?' I replied. 'I meant the surfing.' Ruel started laughing. I can be so dumb sometimes. 'Ohhh, well let's say I'm not a professional. My personal record of standing on the board is five seconds.' I giggled. 'That's okay, my first time on a surfboard went the same.' Ruel ran his hand through his wet hair. 'Why don't you try again? I'll help you this time.' Ruel suggested. 'That would be nice.' I started blushing.

We swam a little further into the water. 'Okay, so the first thing you wanna do is lay on your board and use your hands to swim.' He demonstrated what he just said and I copied him. 'That's good! When you think you have enough speed you can try to stand up. The key here is to keep your balance.' I tried to stand up, but the second I did I fell of the board. 'Yeah, we need to work on your balance.' Ruel laughed. 'I agree, but other than that it wasn't that bad right?' I giggled. 'You made a great start.' Ruel said as he swam closer to me. And by closer I mean close close. He placed his hand on my waist. I think my body just heated up by a 10000 degrees. I'm a hundred percent sure I'm blushing right now. All of a sudden my body just didn't know how to move, I froze. 'Are you fine with that?' Ruel asked. I think he noticed my kind of panic attack. We love a king who asks for consent, even for the smallest things like this. 'Yes, absolutely.' I gave him a smile and placed one arm around his neck. This could be the moment I've been dreaming of.
