*DING DONG*

That must be Ruel. He's going to drive us to the party, well, Coco is. She's going to pick us up as well, so Ruel and I can both have some drinks. I walked over to the door and opened it. 'Hi Ruel.' I shyly said. 'Hi Rose, wow.' He looked me up and down. 'You look very beautiful.' He continued. We both started blushing. 'Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself.' I smiled at him. He reached his hand out to me, so I would grab it. 'Let me lead you to the car, madame.' He sarcastically said. I let out a giggle and grabbed his hand. We walked over to the car where he opened the door for me. I thanked him and got in. 'Hi Rose!' Coco said while sitting behind the wheel. 'Hey Coco! Thanks for driving us.' I replied. 'Of course!' Coco said.

Ruel chose the music, which is nice. He has a very good taste in music. We were basically singing along Tyler, The Creator's songs the entire car ride. About 20 minutes later we arrived at a super big house. I could see some drunk teens smoke weed and make out in front of the house. We were about to leave the car, but I wanted to ask something. 'Wait, can I maybe get both of your phone numbers? Like just in case something happens?' I asked. I meant what I said, like what if I can't find Ruel or what if I'm lost. Their numbers could come in handy, I needed them just in case. And next to that, I also just wanted Ruel's number. Two birds with one stone, hah. 'Of course, hand me your phone.' Coco said. She typed in her number and so did Ruel. I sent both of them a text message to see if they gave me the right numbers. 'I got the message.' Coco said. 'Me too!' Ruel said. 'Now let's go to the party, bye Coco! We'll give you a call when you need to pick us up!' Ruel continued. 'Okay, have fun you two!' She winked. 'Bye Coco!' I said.

'You're ready?' Ruel asked before walking towards the house. 'Yes! But I'm also kinda nervous.' I replied. 'Don't be, I'll keep you company throughout the night.' He reassured me. He placed his arm around my waist and led me to the house. His arm around my waist gave me a lot of butterflies.

As soon as we walked into the house we were greeted by a boy. 'Yo Ruel man!' The boy said. 'Yo Jayce, nice to see you.' Ruel said as he gave the boy a bro hug. 'Who is this lady?' Jayce said as he looked me up and down. It made me feel uncomfortable. 'Jayce, this is Rose. Rose, this is Jayce. He is hosting this party by the way.' Ruel introduced us to each other. 'Nice to meet you, señorita.' He said as he gave a kiss on my hand. I gave him an awkward smile. I didn't like that, at all. Ruel noticed my discomfort. 'We're going to look for my friends, bye Jayce.' Ruel said. He didn't wait for a respond, we just walked away.

'I'm sorry about that, he's a fuckboy. Don't fall for his stupid games.' Ruel said. 'It's fine.' I replied. 'You see those people sitting over there? Those are my friends, let's greet them.' Ruel said as he pointed to a group of people. A few seconds later we were greeted by them. 'Hey Ruel!' A girl said, jumping into his arms. Ruel released his arm from my waist to hug the girl. 'Hii Sunday.' He replied. I felt kinda jealous, but whatever. I don't want to let my jealousy ruin the night.

'I'm guessing you're Rose?' The girl asked with a kind smile. 'Yes, nice to meet you Sunday!' She pulled me into a hug. 'I'm Ruel's best friend, so don't think I'm here to steal him from you!' She jokingly said. 'Good to know.' I winked. 'Rose, come over here, I'll introduce you to my other friends!' Ruel said. I walked over to him. 'So this is Dane, Bodhi, Alex, Mary and Sunday of course. I have more friends but this is like the main group.' Ruel said. 'This is Rose, but I think y'all figured.' He smiled. 'Hi everyone, nice to meet you.' I waved.

We kept talking for about an hour. We've had a few drinks, so talking to each other became a lot easier. I got to know some of his friends and they seem very sweet. 'I heard someone say they're going to play 'Seven minutes in heaven', we should join them!' Bodhi said. All of Ruel's friends agreed. Ruel looked over to me to see if I was okay with playing that game.  I didn't really know, it sounds fun, but kissing someone random wasn't really on my to do list tonight. 'You don't have to play this game if you don't want to.' Ruel said. 'You know what, I'll join.' I smiled at him.

We walked to a room upstairs. About 20 teenagers were sitting in a circle. I think the number of boys and girls was about equal. 'I'll spin the bottle twice, the two chosen people go into that bedroom for seven minutes. Lights off and no cell phones or whatsoever.' Jayce said. He's the guy who's hosting the party. Everyone nodded. He spinned the bottle. The bottle made a few rounds before it stopped spinning. 'Ruel, you're the lucky boy!' Jayce grinned. Ruel's face turned red. Fuck, I thought to myself. Now he's gonna make out with some random girl. Again, I felt really jealous. Yes, there's still a chance it's gonna be me, but there are so many people. What are the odds the bottle will stop spinning in front of me, zero. One girl wore a big smile from the moment the bottle stopped spinning in front of Ruel. I didn't think much of it. Ruel looked kinda worried, I felt like he didn't really wanna go into that room with anyone.

'I will spin the bottle one more time, let's see who will keep Ruel company.' Jayce said. He spinned the bottle once again. I felt very nervous. The bottle slowly stopped spinning. It stopped spinning right in front of me. I looked around to make sure I wasn't seeing things. 'Ah, new girl. Seven minutes in heaven for you with Ruel.' Jayce said. The girl who previously wore a big smile was now looking at me. Not in a friendly way. If eyes could kill, I would be fucking dead by now.

I looked over to Ruel. He looked relieved. 'Ruel and Rose, turn in your phones.' Jayce said. I handed my phone over to Sunday instead of Jayce. There was something about that guy that I did not trust. Ruel also handed his phone over to Sunday. Before we walked over to the bedroom, I could hear Sunday whisper something to me. 'Have fun!' I looked at her and we both started to smile.
