I sit next to Peggy as Howard flies us towards the HYDRA base in a Stark Industries plane. "The HYDRA camp is in Krausberg," Peggy explains pointing on the map, "It's tucked between these two mountain ranges. It's a factory of some kind." She finishes, looking up at Steve. "We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep." Howard yells over the engine. "Just get us as close as you can." I affirm.

"You know, you three are gonna be in a lot of trouble at the lab." Steve says, referring to Peggy, Howard and I. "I've been in worse trouble ostanovka." I shrug. Peggy looks at me sympathetically before addressing Steve, "And you won't?" She asks. "Where we're goin', if anybody yells at me I can just shoot 'em." Steve smiles. "They will undoubtedly shoot back." Peggy retorts. Steve knocks the shield perched next to him, "Well let's hope it's good for somethin'". I nod and secure my knives to me.

"Agent Carter," Howard's voice draws our attention as Steve and I prepare to parachute, "If we're not in too much of a hurry I thought we could stop if in Lucerne for a late night fondue." I grimace at the subtle innuendo and struggle to contain my laughter as Peggy awkwardly looks at Steve. "Stark is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen. He's mad enough to brave this airspace, we're lucky to have him." Peggy tries to change the subject.

"So are you two..." Steve begins, struggling to phrase his question as I internally, well and externally, cringe. "Do you....? Fondue?" He asks and I laugh behind my hand at the awkward interaction. However, ever the professional, Peggy ignores Steve's confused rambling and continues prepping Steve. "This is your transponder. Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you." Steve takes it, "Are you sure this thing works?" He asks.

Howard turns back to three of us briefly to quip, "It's been tested more than you pal." This time I can't stifle my reaction in time and I bark out a laugh before uttering a soft "Sorry." Suddenly bullets began to hit the plane as it jolts from the force. Steve heads towards the door and opens it, ready to jump. "Get back here! We're taking you all the way in." Peggy yells. Steve ignores her and I add, "As soon as we're free, you turn this thing around and get the hell out of here!" Peggy splutters, "You two can't give me orders." Steve smirks, "The hell I can't! I'm a Captain!" He shouts before jumping out of the plane. I simply shrug, turn to face Peggy and salute before falling backwards out of the plane. The cold wind hits me but it brings a thrill to my body as I feel like I'm finally doing exactly what I should be doing.

Steve and I run through the dark woods, well I run and Steve stumbles slightly over a few loose twigs. We stop at the side of a road as HYDRA vehicles drive past. I nod towards the last one and hope Steve gets the picture. After a short run up, the two of us dive into the back of the trucks. We're greeted by two guards, "Fellas" I mutter before knocking them both out with a punch to the jaw as Steve throws their bodies out of the back of the vehicle. We make it into the facility and my heart thunders with familiarity at the hostile environment.

Steve and I silently walk through the facility, I take the lead, knowing the layout of a HYDRA base better than him. We stop at a table with various objects, Steve pockets a shiny blue cartridge as I urge him towards the cells. Steve stands above the cells as I knock out the guard, handing the keys to Steve. "Who are you supposed to be?" One of the men ponders. "I'm..." Steve hesitates before confirming, "Captain America." He works on unlocking one of the cells as another men asks "I beg your pardon?" looking at me quizzically. "Don't look at me," I shrug, "I'm here to save his ass." I say nodding at Steve.

After the men pour out of the cells I ask, "We're looking for Sergeant James Barnes." The same man who previously begged Steve's pardon explains that there's an isolation ward but no-one ever comes back. My jaw clenches and my eyes narrow at the thought of Schmidt hurting my James. "Alright. The tree line is Northwest, 80 years past the gate. Get out fast and give 'em hell. We'll meet you guys in the clearing with anyone else we find." Steve explains hurriedly turning to leave. "Wait!" A man says, stopping us, "You know what you're doin'?" He asks worriedly. "Yeah. I've knocked out Adolf Hitler over two hundred times." Steve says confidently and runs off. I gape at him before turning to the confused men, "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing." I say before sprinting after Steve.
