The night before their marriage, Emily Pinault catches her fiancé in the act of cheating. Completely devastated by his betrayal, she has a breakdown outside of the civil affairs office where she had gone to register their matrimony as a family tradition. However, his sudden forfeiture on that exact day after screwing someone behind her back the prior night acts as the last straw. No longer does she have plans to forgive and forget.
