JIA

The following day, Jia went to school with bags under her eyes.

She had a hard time taking in the fact that Park Sunghoon just cooked for her. She stepped inside the bus, mind still blank. Jia knew she needed to snap out of it, but she couldn't. He really had Jia bewitched not only by his looks or his talent in figure skating, but his personality as well.

Once arriving at school, she met with Ahra who seemed to have noticed the girl spacing out. "Hey Jia, what's up with you?"

"I-I'm good." Jia answered but the girl seemed to not buy it. "Really I'm good."

"If you say so." Ahra said, giving in. "By the way, your car is still with your mom?"

"Yeah. Same circumstance, they'll get over it eventually." Jia said so casually that it almost sounded like she wasn't bothered at all by the constant yelling at her house.

Ahra knew about her situation and would do anything in her power to bring Jia's mood up. After all they were best friends. That was the least she could do for her. "Well do you want to talk about it? I'm all ears!"

Jia laughed. "I think I'm good. Thanks for the effort, Ahra."

"You seem really weird today. Did you just find a guy and fell in love with him?" Ahra asked and Jia's face flushed which made her look so suspicious at the moment. "You did?! Tell me all about him!"

That was the thing, she can't. No matter how close they were, there were things Jia found hard to share to Ahra. She can't share how much her heart fluttered or how butterflies had infiltrated her stomach because Park Sunghoon had cooked her favorite meal.

"It's nothing. I just feel weird." Jia admitted leaving out a lot of details.

"Good weird or bad weird?" Ahra asked.

She laughed. "Good weird."

"That's it. I'm convinced you're in love." Ahra says with a teasing tone. "I'm an expert at this, give me the name and I'll make sure the two of you end up together."

"Since when is that your expertise?"

"Since I found out you're in love." She smiled confidently.

Jia shook her head, convinced her best friend was going crazy. "Well would you look at that, here is my classroom. Time to separate!" Jia says, trying to escape from the conversation.

There was a funny grimace on her face. "Fine! I'll make sure to find out the mystery guy, Yoon Jia. Mark my words!"

She laughed and shrugged it off, knowing her best friend would never guess the guy no matter how hard she tried. She was greeted by her classmates before she sat on her chair and sat there like a prim and proper student. Exams were getting closer and closer. Even though she had two weeks left to prepare, Jia has to make sure she's prepared to avoid cramming.

It was the same old routine in school. After many harsh lectures from the teachers came lunch where she sees Sunghoon and Ahra sitting in one table again, hence making her way to the library to read. And then meeting once again with her number one hater, Jay who shared some various stories of their friend group to fill the time.

Then the awaited tutoring session had arrived. Jia was the early one as per usual. She grabbed her new notebook since she had just filled her last notebook earlier. This was the notebook she gave to Sunghoon so that he would have an excuse to approach the two girls' table. When she opened it, she was surprised there were words written at the front page.
