And then Christmas passed like a blur. 

She had her gifts ready for her friends and that included Sunghoon's friend group. Sunoo sent her a gift that's why she felt like she also had to give them gifts. Jia planned to give them their gifts personally when school starts but right now, she made her way to the hospital in hopes of visiting Jay and his mother as well. 

Jia bought her a plant while a book for Jay. Upon arriving, she softly knocked on the door. Jay opened the door and smiled at Jia who had arrived. 

"Hi." Jia smiled. She tried to push aside the fact that the man in front of her had just confessed and being awkward around him seems rude. 

He opened the door widely for her so she could get inside. "Mom was glad to hear you'll visit." Jay said, making her heart warm. 

"Jia, I'm so glad you could visit again!" His mother said, smiling at her. "Oh, what's that?" 

Jia handed her the paper bag with the plant inside. "I bought you a Christmas gift! I hope you like it." 

She opened the bag and her eyes widened after knowing what was inside. She grinned at Jia making her anxiety go away since it looked like she liked her gift. "Thank you very much Jia! I'll take care of this." 

His father suddenly entered the room with a paper bag in hand. "I see we have visitor." 

"Dad, this is Jia a friend of mine." Jay said and Jia bowed as respect. "Say, have you eaten yet Jia? Do you want to go down for food?" 

"I haven't but how about your mother?" She asked. 

"Don't worry, I still have my therapy but I really appreciate this gift of yours." She said. "Jay accompany her so she could eat already." 

Jia bowed. "I hope you get better soon." 

She smiled. "Thank you. Come back when you have time again, I have more stories about Jay to share with you. I'm really sorry our meeting has to be cut short but I have therapy in three minutes." 

"It's fine." She nods before turning her back and leaving the room with Jay. She and Jay made their way to the elevator without speaking any word to each other. Jia didn't know what to tell him after all and it was easier to text him because she didn't have to face him personally. 

"Seriously, why are you so awkward with me? Just pretend I didn't say what I said last time." Jay said and she glared at him. 

"Yeah like it's that easy, you idiot." Jia frowned. 

Jay crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. "Stop feeling bad about rejecting me. It's making me regret I even confessed in the first place. Anyways, I heard about the festival did you go?" 

She scoffed. "No. I was stuck in my bedroom, watching all the harry potter movie but I did want to check it out." 

"Why didn't you check it out?" He asked. "Did the two of them go there?" 

She nods. "Ahra had asked Sunghoon and apparently he agreed."

Jay sighed. "He said yes?"

"I just said he agreed." She replied and Jay covered his face with his palm, groaning.

"That stupid jerk." He mumbled but Jia didn't understand what he had just said. The elevator opened and she was contemplating if she should tell him that she was invited by Sunghoon but she only refused.
