JIA

"Jia, I told you Sunghoon looked good! Have you seen his recent performance? He skates so gracefully!" Ahra squealed as they drove off to campus.

Jia laughed. "How come when we're alone you're chaotic, but when we're in school, somehow you're some graceful girl?"

"That's because I am." Ahra bragged.

Ahra and Jia have been best friends ever since the beginning of high school. The two of them entered hell together and have been there for each other since then. Ahra is the school's Goddess. Her beauty stood out on campus, and Jia could name so many guys that adored her. Jia was also known, but she was nowhere near her friend.

Sad to say to her admirers, her heart belongs to a guy named Park Sunghoon. He's a famous figure skater in their school that captured many hearts, including the two best friends.

Though, Ahra has no idea Jia felt the same way as the girl would only laugh at her fangirling moments. What was there not to like anyway? He had everything a girl could ever wish.

Jia parked the car, grabbed her bag from the back, and left her car. "Seriously, Ahra, stop gawking at your phone. You have to study for the exam."

Ahra frowned at Jia while they walk towards the gate. They haven't entered the school, yet they had caught so much attention already.

"Hi Ahra and Jia!" A girl waved at them when they entered the school. They both smiled at her and continued walking.

It was an ordinary day for the two. They glided in the hallways, side by side, towards each other's classrooms. Ahra winked at Jia when the two had to separate as Ahra is from Class b and Jia is from Class a.

Jia entered the classroom, sat on her desk, and grabbed the book she was currently reading from her bag.

"Jia! Our adviser's asking for you earlier." A student spoke to the girl who was busy reading a book. Jia raised her head. Her eyebrow arched as she had no idea why the teacher would ask for her.

She nods before standing up to make her way to the room where all the teachers stayed. Students were running around, talking by the lockers, and acting like your typical teenager since it was, after all, a school morning.

Jia slowly opened the door, bowing politely upon entering. She approached her adviser, who had asked for her. "You asked for me?"

Her adviser nods. "Yes, but we're missing one more student."

Once she spoke, the door swung open, revealing the one and only Park Sunghoon in his uniform. Jia's eyes widened while looking at her crush enter with a straight face. She immediately hoped she wasn't blushing.

"Speak of the devil, Mr. Park. Anyways, Jia, I would like to speak to you about something."

Jia looked at Sunghoon and back at the teacher, confused. "Yes?"

"Our figure skater prodigy here has been missing lessons due to his busy schedule. Would you mind helping him? I had already asked our top student with another problem child. You're my next best option." She said, almost pleading.

That was a job many girls in their school would take, she included.

"Why do I need her help? Heeseung can help me." Sunghoon frowned while Jia didn't know how to feel after that.

Should she be thankful that she could be spared from the embarrassment or be sad that her crush didn't want her help?

"I'm afraid he'll go easy on you. I need someone like Jia to help you." The teacher said. "May I remind you, if you fail this semester, you'd have to attend summer classes that will surely get in the way of your busy schedule."
