JIA
"Wonder why he only got 2nd place, his free skate was far better than the winner." Mira said while they were walking backstage. The men division was finally over with Sunghoon winning second place.
Jia chuckled, eyes wandering around trying to look for Sunoo and the others. Mira nudged her hard in the arm when they finally caught sight of Sunghoon, holding a bouquet of flowers while talking to his coach.
When Sunghoon had caught sight of Jia, they both grinned at each other. He excused himself from his coach and approached the two. His eyebrow arched when he saw Mira standing beside Jia.
"You know each other?" Sunghoon asked.
Jia nods. "She's my cousin." His eyes widened right after hearing the two were related.
Mira had a teasing smile plastered on her face. "Hi! So you and my cousin are friends huh? It sucks you only won second place, this girl right here cried at your performan- ow!"
"Shut up." Jia said, nudging her hard in the arm.
"I have to go see my coach, see you in the finals Park Sunghoon!" She waved at them and ran towards the other direction.
"When you said your cousin is a figure skater, I never imagined you meant Yoon Mira." He said, making Jia laugh. "She's a brilliant skater. Your family have some talented genes."
"Congratulations by the way. I really loved your free skate." Jia smiled.
He chuckles and looks down. "Sorry I only won silver. I really thought I would've gotten a gold with that performance."
She frowns right after hearing his sad tone. She really did love his performance hence why she opened her bag and grabbed the gold medal she won earlier. "Give me your silver medal."
He looked at her, confused but followed her order. Once the silver medal was in her palms, she wore the gold medal on him with a proud smile plastered on her face.
"Don't apologize for winning a silver medal. I gave you my gold medal because your performance was gold medal worthy." Jia grinned, lifting his mood up. "So now you owe me sweet and sour pork."
Sunghoon's surprised face from when she had wore him the gold medal was replaced with a genuine smile. "Thank you Jia, it really means a lot."
Jia felt her face flushed because of how he smiled at her. Their conversation was disturbed by his friends rushing towards him. They all hugged him and congratulated his win. Jia stepped back while they continued to attack him with praises.
"That was so good! You should definitely teach me how to skate." Jungwon said, slapping him in the shoulder. "Wait a minute, why is your medal suddenly gold?"
Both Jia and Sunghoon's eyes widened. He hid the medal behind his jacket and smiled like nothing happened. "What do you mean? You all should congratulate Jia too, she won first place."
All their eyes fall to Jia who was standing there quietly. They all congratulated her and praised her for being smart enough to win a big competition like that. Heeseung who was there at the quiz bee just smiled at Jia as he had already said his congratulations to her.
Jay ruffled her hair. "Knew you could do it."
"Are you going to leave already, Sunghoon?" Jake asked but he shook his head. "Ah really? Then we'll be taking our leave."
"Thank you for the congratulations." Sunghoon smiled at them.
"How about you Jia? Are you going home now?" They asked but Jia shook her head as a response.
