Daniel's POV:-
"Mmm. This one tastes SO good", Zach said with his mouth full. I laughed as we continued to walk around the bakery, Zach taking a bite of what he found interesting.Being a baker himself, Zach had decided to try snacks of the most famous bakery in LA which happens to be just the one we're standing in.
Earlier today, after we had had breakfast and us five guys had hung out in the living room, Corbyn wasn't there since he had left for his college, Zach had asked me to accompany him to the bakery. He would've asked someone else but Eben and Jonah were busy and Jack was probably too distracted to pay any attention to what Zach would be saying so he had chosen me to go with him.
"Try this lemon tart", Zach's voice broke me out of my thoughts as the small pastry was shoved near my face.
I laughed and grabbed it, taking a bite. Oh my gosh. It was so good.
"This is amazing", I stated as I swallowed.
"I know right", Zach said."I'm going to attempt to make this".
"I can't wait for you to try it", I said.
We continued around the bakery once more until Zach decided it was time to leave. We exited the shop and made our way to a coffee shop, the one we had discovered only two days after staying in LA. It was our place. The six of us now came here a lot.
We ordered our coffees and sat down on our usual table. Twenty minutes later, our beverages were served to us.
"Thanks Chris", I said smiling at the waitress who had brought us our order. 'Chris' was basically 'Christina' and we had made friends with her at the very beginning and it was safe to say that she was part of the group now. Her girlfriend Gabbie worked in an art gallery a couple miles from here and she had entered the group just two days ago.
"Yeah yeah. There are better ways to say thank you you know", Christina said holding out a hand and gesturing it in a "give me" motion.
I rolled my eyes and took out a twenty dollar bill placing it in Christina's awaiting palm. Beside me, Zach let out a laugh. I turned to him, raising an eyebrow and he just shrugged, grinning widely.
I stared into his brown eyes, getting lost in them. Yep, he was gorgeous. I had clearly fallen for him. Speaking of Zach, I still found him extremely familiar but my brain stops working every time I try to figure out why. Ugh. It's so annoying sometimes.
One more thing Zach taught me is how to be a little more confident. I mean I was still a pretty shy person but I was getting less and less anxious around crowds and was gaining a little self confidence, all thanks to Zach who showed me how.
I was snapped out of my thoughts once again by Zach's hand on my arm. I turned to look at him and he gave me a small smile.
"Hey. Are you okay?", he asked.
I nodded my head.
"You've been getting lost in your thoughts too much today. Is everything alright", he continued.
"Yeah. Why wouldn't it be?", I said.
"I don't know, you tell me", he said crossing his arms.
I let out a laugh and placed my hand in Zach's shoulder.
"Zach, I really appreciate your concern but I'm totally fine", I said smiling at him.
"Okay. If you say so", he said looking doubtful.
I squeezed his shoulder a little before removing my hand and went back to finishing. After finishing our drinks, we headed back to the house.
