Eben's POV:-
Ah. Finally I was able to relax and do something I loved. I had told the boys I was going to go look at some paintings but I had actually decided to make one as well.So after exploring the quiet art gallery, enjoying every single painting I saw, examining them and admiring the masterpieces, maybe one day I'll be able to put mine on here as well, Maybe. Just maybe. Okay we're getting side tracked here. What I'm saying is I'm currently in a relaxing point of the house now with my paint brush in my hand and my brush running swiftly across the whole canvas right in front of me.
I suddenly heard a noise as I stood there completely lost in thought. I turned around to see Jonah standing there. I was so startled that I almost splashed the paint all over him.
"Jo. Seriously. I could've ruined your whole shirt with my paint", I said letting out a sigh. "Don't sneak up on me like that. Got it?".
But Jonah didn't reply or say anything and when I looked up at him, he wasn't looking at me but looking at something behind me. His expression was blank though so it was hard to tell what he was thinking. I turned around and saw my painting.
"Oh that!", I replied sheepishly. "Look I can explain-".
But Jonah held up a hand, silencing me.
"Eb. This is amazing", he said approaching the painting slowly.
I sighed and stepped away from the painting, my thoughts distracted as I looked at Jonah again.
He was wearing a maroon hoodie which was slightly covered in sweat but made him look hot. Yep, I'm in love with Jonah Marais.
Oh and suddenly, just a few days ago, the familiarity of knowing him somehow, increased and I was even more shocked now.
"Wait what?", I asked, my thoughts finally processing what Jonah had said just a few seconds ago as I snapped out of my thoughts.
"I said they look amazing", Jonah repeated letting a smile take over his features which brought an automatic smile to my face because how could you not smile when Jonah Marais was smiling at you. His smile always lit up his gorgeous face and made him look even more handsome. Okay, I definitely need to stop swooning over him.
"Uh. Thanks", I said, a slight blush making it's way to my cheeks.
"Come on. Let's go inside", he said grabbing my hand.
He lead me inside and we sat down on the couch.
"Care to explain what's happening?", he asked.
"Explain what?", I said trying to act innocent.
"Come on Eben", he said sighing as he ran a hand through his hair.
I remained silent.
"Fine", he said. "Why didn't the boys and I find out that you not only love looking at parents, you also paint them and such beautiful ones too?".
"Well...", I stated and then proceeded to explain to him why I had suddenly become a secret artist.
"Oh my", he said once I finished. "I wish I could show your parents how talented their son really was".
"Thanks Jo. But no one can change their mind.
"Why not? They let you come to LA", he said and I sighed. If it wasn't my destiny they wouldn't have let me come but I didn't say that out loud since the old man had warned me not to tell anyone about the destiny. Instead I covered my face in a smile and looked at Jonah.
"Yeah. You're right", I said. "Thanks Jonah".
"Anytime Eb. Anytime", he said smiling at me.
After that we just sat on the couch talking to each other all afternoon.
