Jonah's POV
"Hey, want to go to the mall and shop around?" Eben asked me when the movie ended.
"Sounds fun." I say with a smile on my face.
Eben has been acting a little weird since truth or dare but I wasn't thinking much about it. Jack and Corbyn were the worst off from that situation and Zach was just a blushing mess. It was quite funny to watch to be honest.
Eben goes and gets his car keys and I met him in the car. The car ride to the mall being a fun one, with us singing and dancing to the radio. It was always fun when Eben was involved in my opinion.
I couldn't help but get lost in thought when I was looking at him, especially when he was singing and swaying his head back and forth. The sun shining perfectly into the car and highlighting his blonde hair, making it look like a halo. Fuck! He looked good.
Eben turns the radio down. "Are you okay?"
I shake my head out of my daze and grin. "Perfect!" I say.
Eben smirks at me though like he could see right through me, he probably could. "You can admit it, I look good." He tells me a playful wink of his blue eye.
I gasp slightly and look out the passenger window, arms crossed, making my biceps pop out. I could see Eben's smile through the freakishly clean window though, seriously Corbyn and his obsession with cleaning cars.
"Come on!" Eben taunts me, using the hand not steering to playful shove me. I can't help but smile at the action but quickly drop it, frowning deeply, trying my hardest not to smile.
"I saw that!" Eben cries out in a sing song voice, shoving me again.
I can't help the smile this time and it sticks. "Fine! You look good."
"Knew it! But that means a lot coming from you, gorgeous." Eben say's, smiling.
I flush at the words and my insides warm up. Could he be anymore perfect? Soon Eben pulls into the mall parking lot and we go in, looking around at a few stores inside.
I got a few new hoodies and workout outfits, as well as a new icy chain. Eben getting some jeans, more canvas, and a hoodie as well. Actually we got one of the same hoodies. Eben grinned at me and shouting "TWINSIES!" when that happened.
"Hungry?" I ask Eben with a smirk, hearing his stomach growl.
"Yeah, I only had some eggs for breakfast today, and some popcorn." Eben explained.
"Well come on let's go fed the beast." I say, running out of the mall, Eben hot on my trail.
"Were do you want to go?" Eben asked, when we making it back to his car and got in.
"Hmm-" I think as I look around for something close by. "How about Mike's Place?" I ask, spotting a little family owned restaurant, across the street.
"Sounds good to me." Eben says, turning the car on and driving off to it.
The restaurant was amazing and I would definitely go there again. The food was good and I was stuffed.
"Hmm something smells good in here." Eben says as we walk into the house.
"We just eat." I tell him with a eye roll.
"Doesn't stop it from smelling good." Eben says before disappearing to the kitchen.
"ZACH MADE SHRIMP ALFREDO!" Eben calls out to me.
Hmm that's does sound good. I kind of regret going out to eat now. It was nice spending time with Eben though. It was almost like a date, a grin spreading across my face at the thought.
Eben walks out of the kitchen, his mouth full and chewing. I could tell he took a forkful of the pasta.
"Good." I ask, a eyebrow cocked up.
"Mmm mmmm mmm." Eben says, his mouth still full, but I could tell from his facial expression that it was delicious.
I just smile at him and shake my head, heading up the stairs and to my room, Eben behind me.
"Night." Eben says.
"Night." I answer back before going into my room and putting my new clothes away and getting ready for bed. Right before I do, I get a group text talking about the current 'jarbyn' situation. Damn it Jack! Why would he reject Corbyn? What the hell is going on?!
