Jack's POV:-
I was in the garden when I got a text from Zach, telling me to meet him in the kitchen. I frowned. What had happened?

It's been a crazy past few weeks to be honest, so anything might've happened. Falling for Corbyn, the magical garden, Corbyn's confession, the awkwardness between us now, my destiny-

I sighed shaking my thoughts. It was no use dwelling over the past. I just hope my future will be better but without Corbyn, it felt like my future was nothing.

I sighed again as I exited the garden and went up to the house, entering through the front door and making my way towards the kitchen. I suddenly stopped, my heart beating fast. What if Corbyn told Zach that I had rejected him and that's what he wanted to talk about? That was a possibility because Zach knew I had a crush on Corbyn.

I nervously looked inside the kitchen and saw Zach sitting at the table with food in front of him. He grabbed his phone and looked at it then put it down sighing as he ran a hand through his hair. He had been clearly waiting for me for a while now. Since he was facing away from the door, he still hadn't seen me.

I took a deep breath and entered the kitchen walking up to the table and slipping into one of the seats.

"Hey", I greeted him.

"Oh thank God you're finally here", he said looking up at me."I was just debating whether or not to drag you out of that wretched garden".

"Oh yeah. Sorry", I said."Was just doing some last minute touch ups on a new plant I grew".

"Seriously dude", Zach chuckled shaking his head."You're too obsessed with that garden".

I just shrugged my shoulders grinning.

Suddenly Zach's face turned serious and he sat up straight.

"Dude. I need to talk to you about something", he said with a serious expression. Uh oh. This was bad. Zach rarely got serious.

"Yeah. What is it?", I said trying to keep my calm.

"Did you-did you reject Corbyn?", he asked me carefully looking at me closely.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair, looking at him.

"Yeah", I whispered so quietly that Zach barely heard me but he did hear me nonetheless.

"Why?", he asked slowly.

"I don't know", I answered frustrated.

"Come on J. There's clearly something", he said rolling his eyes."Why else would you reject your crush?".

"Okay", I answered taking a deep breath."There is something. But you need to promise you won't tell anyone".

And that's how I ended up revealing everything about my destiny to Zach. By the end of my speech, he was left open mouthed, looking at me with wide eyes.

"What?", I asked laughing nervously, feeling uncomfortable under his piercing gaze.

"Are you fucking kidding me?", is all he said.

"Zach. Dude. It's not that big of a deal-", I started but was cut off.

"Not that big of a deal. Are you serious Jack? I have the same destiny", he said."Tell me, how did the old man look like?".

"Umm. Well, let's see. He wore a long robe and had pure white hair with a matching white moustache and-", I started.

"Dude. He's the same guy", he interrupted me.

"Well, shit", I answered genuinely shocked.

"I know right", Zach said in an obvious tone.

"Mmhmm", I said suddenly getting distracted, my thoughts filling with Corbyn suddenly. I let out a deep sigh.

"You're thinking about him aren't you?", Zach asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah", I sighed out leaning my chin on the palm of my hand, resting my elbows on the table, lost in thought.

"Dude. Just tell him how you feel", he said."If he's really not part of your destiny you'll know. It'll hurt I know if he's not but you've got to try at least".

"You're right", I said sitting up, feeling the most confident I had felt these past few weeks.

"I know. I always am", Zach answered smirking as he leaned back in his chair.

"Shut up", I said laughing as I shoved him playfully.

"Hey. That's not nice", he said pouting.

"Yeah. Yeah whatever", I said grinning.

"You're so mean to me", he said crossing his arm and pouting even more.

"Come on Zee. You know that pout doesn't work on me", I said rolling my eyes."I'm not Daniel". I added with a wink, smirking.

"Shut up", he whispered as a blush covered his face.

I just let out a laugh and hugged him.

"Thank you Zee", I said pulling away."I've got to go tell Corbyn before it's too late".

"Happy to help", Zach said grinning."Come on go now. What are you waiting for?".

"Right", I said getting up.

I exited the room and made my way up the stairs to mine and Corbyn's room. On the way there, I suddenly started getting flashbacks of the past few weeks and I stopped dead in my tracks. Could it be? Was Corbyn my destiny?

Only one way to find out, I told myself as I continued walking to mine and Corbyn's room.
