Zach's POV

I couldn't think of anything else but that kiss Daniel gave me. Each time I did my face heated up and my heart swelled like five sizes bigger. In short I was a fucking mess! I was slowly losing my edge because of all the blushing I have been doing the last few days.

I school my expressions, currently looking in the mirror. Trying to practice not blushing when I saw Daniel, but even just thinking about him, I felt my face warm up. Damn it! This was impossible.

I sigh, knowing I had no choose but accepted my blushing stuttering self and go downstairs for the movie. I walk out of the bedroom and see Daniel. Fuck!

"Hi." He says softly, walking up to me.

I could feel my face already getting red. Just don't stutter. "H-h-hey." Damn it!!!

"Can I ask you somethig?" Daniel asks, looking down before looking back into my eyes. The only sign I got that Daniel was nervous.

"S-sure." I say, unable to look him in the eyes, it was just making me more of a flattery mess. Dang Dani for being so handsome. Like seriously! Who the fuck gave him the right?!

"Look Zach, you've been acting pretty strange these past few days. I-" Daniel tries to get out.

I am quick to defend myself. "Strange? No, I haven't been acting strange. You must be mistaken." What....I never said it was going to be a good defense.

Daniel smiles softly at me, making me feel at ease. "Look, you don't need to cover it up. I'm not mad, I just-wanna know something." Daniel says.

I take a deep breath, okay I can do this. How bad could the question be?

"I-uh-yeah okay." Seriously I have to get myself back under control, this is getting ridiculous.

Daniel notices my internal turmoil and grins. "Breathe Zach. I just wanna know if the kiss we had during the truth or dare game, was that your first kiss?"

Fuck! He figured me out. Was I acting that flustered? Of course I was! I can't even get a sentence out to him anymore and my face seemed to be the constant shade of the reddest tomato on the planet.

I break out of my thoughts when Daniel places a large strong hand on my shoulder. Sending warmth and sparks through me.

"I'm not going to make fun of you Zee. You just have to trust me. I just wanna know." Daniel assures me.

I let my lip go, unaware I had started chewing on it. "Ugh! Fine, yes you were my first kiss." I admit, shrugging my shoulders, trying to make it sound like it wasn't a big deal.

Daniel's eyes widen slightly. "Oh, you should've told me. I would have told the other guys to stop." He explains.

No! I was happy Daniel was my first kiss. I wouldn't of wanted it to be anyone else.

"Nah, it's cool. I needed to have my first kiss one way or another. It just happened to be you who stole it before anyone else could." I tell him, laughing a bit.

Daniel smirks at me then. "Oh yeah. What's up with that? I thought being the bad boy as well as a popular kid, plus being a handsome fellow as yourself, people would've killed to kiss you."

I think back to all the people that tried and failed to kiss me. Man were there lots of them.

"Oh no, there were plenty of people who wanted to kiss me but I rejected them all since I was looking for a special someone." I explain to Daniel.

"Oh, so you found that special someone in me?" Daniel teased me, blue eyes bright.

"Hey! I thought you said no teasing." I pout out when Daniel nudges me with his elbow.

"I only said that about the kissing part not anything else." Daniel says, being technical.

I cross my arms. "This is part of the kissing."

Daniel sticks his tongue out. "Is not."

"Is too."

"Is not."

"Is too."

"Is not."

Right when I was about to argue back, Eben cuts me off. We made them wait too long to start the movie and they were getting impatient.

My heart skipping a beat when Daniel grabs my hand and leads me down the stairs to the living room. We were going to watch Onward. Once the movie was over, everyone pretty much did their own thing.

I decided to go into my room before quickly getting bored and heading to the kitchen, going to make dinner. What to make? Pasta has been sounding good...but what? I like seafood, why not shrimp alfredo. Yeah that sounds perfect.

I then begin to make my homemade noodles, following that up with homemade alfredo sauce, it being a white creamy sauce. I fried the shrimp in some butter and other spices. Deciding to dice up some tomatoes as well for it.

"Dinner!" I call out. Only to have Daniel being the only one to come.

"Where is everyone?"

"Jonah and Eben are still gone, Jack went to his garden I believe and Corbyn is in his room." Daniel explains to me.

My eyebrows scrunch together in confusion. "Why isn't he here for dinner then?" I ask.

"He is really hurting right now." Daniel says, sadness in his tone.

"What happened!?" I ask quickly, now full of worry.

"I-I convinced him to confess his feeling to Jack." Daniel says, looking and sounded guilty. Why though? That was wonderful news!

"That's great! Are they together?"

"Jack rejected Corbyn." Daniel says softly, looking at the kitchen table.

I freeze. "What? Why would Jack do that?"

Everyone knows Jack liked Corbyn back! Why would that suddenly change? Something didn't sit right with me, and I could tell it didn't with Daniel either.

"Take some pasta to Corbyn and have dinner together in the room. I am going to go talk to Jack." I say, determination in my eyes. Just because Daniel and I probably couldn't be together, didn't mean I was letting Jack and Corbyn go around not together. They belonged together and I was going to make sure of it.

"Okay." Daniel says, tone gently and sad still. He was still blaming himself, poor baby.

I walk over to him and pull him into a hug. "It isn't your fault. Everyone knows they belong together, you were just giving Corbyn the right push he needed. I don't know what made Jack say no, but am going to find out. It will be okay." I tell him, giving him a light kiss on the cheek without even thinking.

I then walk out of the kitchen, missing Daniel's light gasp and red cheeks, his hand coming up to touch his left cheek, a dopey smile on his face.

Now to find Jack and figure out what the hell was going on.
