*3rd person POV (3k+ words)

Since the day they met, the second they saw each other, both of them knew they were trapped and there was no turning back.

Brendon was sipping his coffee, sitting in one of the tables near the counter in a café, calmly reading a book.

A young man in a suit entered the place in a hurry, practically demanding for a cup of coffee. Brendon looked up from his book and was met with a tall and slim figure, brown hair messy-styled.

His attitude didn't bothered Brendon, it kinda intrigued him. 'How a person could act like this towards somebody that is just doing their job?' He thought to himself.

And then the guy received his beverage and turned around, making eye contact with Brendon. The most beautiful man he had ever seen was in front of him.

The guy smiled fondly at him and confidently walked closer to where Brendon was sitting. "May I?" He gestured to the empty chair in Brendon's table and he nodded. Apparently he wasn't in a hurry anymore.

The boy took a seat and sipped his coffee. Brendon was fascinated, the guy sitting in his table wasn't the same guy who came in demanding a coffee, he was a completely different person. Also, the confidence in him was impressive.

"I'm Ryan...And you are?" Brendon was appreciating the other's honey eyes, staring right back at him. He was deep in thought that he missed what Ryan asked, he just catch his name.

"Ryan." He mumbled under his breath, not tearing his eyes off of Ryan. It was awkward but cute though, the way Brendon didn't seem to cared he was staring.

"I'm afraid that's my name darling, or is this a coincidence and we're both Ryan?" He chuckled and Brendon almost passed out in embarrassment. But it was kind of worth it, seeing Ryan's lips curved upwards in a grin  was the most precious thing.

"Oh sorry, It's Brendon." He sipped more of his coffee, trying to hide the blush on his cheeks. "What's brings you here? I mean, it's not that I don't want you to, but why here with me having so many unoccupied tables around? Also you seemed pretty rushed and all of a sudden we're having a chill conversation. I'm not messing something up, right?" Brendon rambled and Ryan found it amusing.

"I was, yeah. But work doesn't matter when I could be enjoying a good cup of coffee in the company of a cute boy." Ryan didn't hesitaste to answer and Brendon flushed red.

"O-oh ok, I-I'll go get another cup. Be right back." Brendon stuttered and was going to stand up, but Ryan made a sign, stopping him. "What-?"

"Let me," Ryan smiled warmly and called one of the employees standing over there. "Can I please have another one? Black would be great. Thanks." He ordered politely and the girl nodded.

"You didn't have to do that, I have money." Brendon said looking inside of this now empty mug.

"Don't worry too much hun, it's my pleasure."

It was 'love at first sight', as people tend to call it, and the pair had a feeling that they were gonna be together for a very very long time.
