Brendon was new in the city, he and his family recently moved from St. George, Utah to the marvelous city of Las Vegas.

They wanted something different. But why there? Why sin city of all places when being a super religious Mormon family? Only they know.

The whole moving thing was longer than they expected to be, three long and tiring weeks.

The new Urie's house was on the outskirts of the city. Far way from all those loud and illuminated with a ton of unnecessary bright lights casinos, streets full of booze and people doing drugs everywhere.

A white house with green accents on the outside, two floors and big enough for seven people. A decent sized backyard with a big tree in the middle —not in the corner nor the back, in the middle— with a swing made of a tire, neat.

Being a little kiddo, Brendon had to start going to preschool as soon as possible before he starts missing more classes than he already did.

He's a small kid, yeah. But his mom didn't want him to be left behind of all of the other kids his age, also you need to learn how to draw!

So here he is, a five year old getting ready for his first day at his new preschool.

"Mom, I-I'm scared." His bottom lips trembles and his big deep brown eyes full on tears, "I's don't wanna go."

"Bubba, we talked about this, you're gonna be ok and you'll have fun. Also you're gonna make new friends! Isn't that exciting?!" Grace's trying her best to cheer up his crying son, but she's failing at it.

Instead, she gets more ugly sobs coming from Brendon, he's buried in his mom skinny frame. "C'mon sweetheart. You can do this, there's no need to be scared, is just a new school, everything's gonna be just fine. Don't worry baby."

After a while of petting his hair and kissing him with feather light kisses all over his small face multiple times. Brendon managed to calm down. "You promise?" Grace wipes with her thumbs the tears from Brendon's eyes. "Do you promise I's be fine?"

"Of course honey, if I didn't think that, I wouldn't let you go there, silly." She poked his nose making him giggle. "Now it's time to go, do you have everything ready?"

Brendon stands up from his bed and goes to grab his Mickey Mouse's backpack "Crayons, notebook and Mr. Tickles. Yeah, all ready."

"Bubba, what did I say about Mr. Tickles? He can't go with you." She crosses her arms in her chest and glares at his baby boy. "You'll lose him."
