How long would the silence between the royalty last? It was a question nobody knew, yet all wanted the answer to.

Aurora had paid no attention to her former friends, her family. It was clear that they were hurt, all apart from Susan, who didn't seem too phased by the Queen's Silence.

Jasper remained close to the High Queen, who he recently introduced to Reepicheep. She was listening to the brothers tell another tale, one of a dragon. The adventures the two mice shared reminded her of her own with Edmund, not that she'd tell them.

Caspian stared at the beautiful Queen, curious to speak to her, something he had yet to do in the day since she arrived.

The Prince decided to approach the Queen, who chuckled at something the mice brothers had told her. He let out a cough, causing Aurora to stand up. She smiled at the prince.

"Hello, my name is Prince Caspian." He was internally hitting himself for the stupid introduction. He wanted to make a good first impression on the Queen, yet he sounded like a ridiculous child.

"I am Aurora," she replied as she curtsied to the boy. "I heard how you try to stop Peter from attacking the castle. He was foolish." "I agree, though you saved the Narnians," Caspian said, attempting, yet failing to hide his amazement. "May I ask how?"

A smile appeared on Aurora's face as she looked at the boy. "I went into the castle and got them out." A chuckle escaped Caspian's mouth.

Peter and Edmund had entered the room, just as Caspian smiled brightly at the Queen. Peter felt his jealousy build up, while Edmund felt a strange, unknown emotion. He felt angry, but there was something else, something he had never felt before.

"I've loved her for a thousand years and he comes and suddenly it's like I'm not here anymore," Peter mumbled. Edmund didn't reply to his brother, instead he watched the Prince and his best friend. He wasn't sure what they were talking about, but even Reepicheep seemed interested.

It was then the young King realised what they were talking about. How he didn't realise earlier was a mystery. "They're talking about how she saved them." Peter looked at his brother, a frown on his face.

How did Edmund know that? Could he read minds? "Watch Reepicheep, he seems interested in her every word." Peter listened to his brother and it made sense. The mouse was listening as if she was speaking the most fascinating story.

Peter walked away, as did Edmund, the younger boy looked back once more, only to catch Aurora's dark eyes, her beautiful dark eyes.

Aurora seemed to adjust to being back, well, back to life. She wasn't sure exactly what kept her alive. Was it her powers? The dust? Both?
