The loneliness in the heart can cause anyone pain. Aurora was distracting herself, not so much from everyone, but one person in particular. She hadn't forgiven Peter for what he had done, of course not, though he never phased her.

Edmund, on the other hand, he seemed to be everywhere, watching her like she was his prey.

Aurora was using Caspian. How was she using him? She was training with him, helping him, while using it as an distraction. It was both beneficial for her and for Caspian.

Caspian laughed as Aurora swung a sword at him. She wasn't even trying, he knew that, it was the only way he had beaten her so many times.

She had centuries more training than him. He would not beat her unless she wanted him to.

"You've improved," she told the prince. He smiled brightly at the Queen. Some may say he was looking at her with love, but anyone who knew the Prince, was aware of the admiration he held for the High Queen.

"All because of you." Aurora shook her head. He had been the easiest person to train, more so than any soldiers she once possessed. "You are a good student, much more so than any of my previous." "A student is only as good as the master," the Prince countered.

Aurora couldn't help but laugh at the Prince's words. She would've said something similar herself. He was a lot like her at that age, desperate to be the best he could, to please those higher than her, than him.

Caspian's eyes flickered to Susan, who was practicing with her bow. She had an aim that none rivalled, yet all wished they could achieve. A small, almost unnoticeable smile appeared on Aurora's face as she noticed the Prince's longing gaze.

"We are done for today," she said, catching Caspian off guard. "I believe it's time you practice your training with a crossbow." He nodded his head. "Do you have much practice with a bow?" A sigh escaped Aurora's mouth as she prepared to put her match making skills to test.

"Unfortunately I do not, however, Susan is unmatched in that department. I'm sure if you ask her, she'll be more than happy to help."

The Prince nodded his head, before going over to the young Queen. The two seemed to have fallen into a conversation impressively quick. Aurora was right, they would be a perfect pair.

Edmund took the opportunity to go over to the High Queen, who was, for once alone. "Practice with me?" His blunt nature didn't surprise the girl, though he rarely did. She knew him better than he knew himself.

"Do you wish to fight?" she spoke almost mockingly. "Or to attack me again?" He shook his head. "I wish to practice. You're the only one who won't go easy on me, even after all these years."
