Nothing in life was simple, the relationship between Aurora and Susan would always be strained. Susan believed Aurora was evil, while Aurora believed Susan to be shallow. Of course both were wrong.
Caspian wasn't sure what to do, he felt like he was in the middle of a conflict and he was. He was a Telmarine Prince, destined to rule before his nephew was born. Though that wasn't the conflict that currently bothered him.
The High King Peter thought he was better than everyone, that nobody was good enough to be in his presence. King Peter would be their downfall.
He was convinced to go to Aslan's table by the dwarf Nikabrik. He should've said no, yet the dwarf was right, he didn't trust Peter at all.
A gasp escaped the Prince's mouth as an ice wall appeared. Aurora didn't do it, so who else could it have been. His question was answered as he saw Jadis in the ice.
Caspian voice shook as he spoke, "This isn't what I wanted." He was unable to look away from the ice woman, even as the werewolf grabbed his hand out for the witch. "One drop of Adam's blood and you free me," the witch spoke. "Then I am yours, my king."
A gasp escaped Caspian's mouth as the hag cut his hand, allowing blood to fall down. The werewolf led the Prince towards the ice wall, where the Witch had put out her hand.
The more she smiled at the boy, the more he became hypnotised. She was truly beautiful, just like her niece. She was right, they did need help, yet as much as he wanted to turn away, get help from anyone else, he couldn't.
Just as he was about to step forward, Peter's voice raged with the word, "Stop!"
Caspian was too mesmerized by the witch to even turn to the king's voice, though he did stop moving. He would've noticed Edmund, Trumpkin and Lucy alongside the King had he turned.
Peter began fighting the hag.
Edmund fought against the werewolf.
While Trumpkin was fighting Nikabrik, his best friend.
The werewolf knocked Edmund off his feet, though the young King was able to slice the werewolf's leg in the process, causing him to let out a loud, pained howl.
The howl echoed, catching the attention of two people in particular. Aurora and Susan knew they had to get to the sound.
Lucy had almost been killed by Nikabrik, though Trumpkin saved her, killing his best friend in the process. He was overwhelmed with guilt, yet he knew it was the right thing to do. He had to save the queen, to save Narnia.
Edmund had killed the werewolf, who was surprisingly a tough opponent, his experience gave him the advantage.
Peter rushed over to Caspian, knocking him away from the Queen. He stood in front of her, his sword pointing towards the ice. "Peter, dear, I've missed you," she spoke softly, smiling down at the High King. "Come, you know you can't do it alone."
The words weren't effecting the boy, though there was one thing that would get him to listen. "I can make you the King you wish to be. I can make her love you as much as you do her." Peter's hand began shaking, causing Jadis to smile. She was winning.
"You will be the King you wish to be, with Aurora by your side, as your wife. I can make it all come true," she told him.
Aurora and Susan rushed in, their eyes widening at what they saw. Peter was putting his hand towards Jadis, ready to accept her help. He was going to release her.
The blonde girl went to step forward, only to see a knife pierce through the ice wall. She was confused as she watched her aunt turn into a thousand ice pieces, though as the steam disappeared, Aurora was shocked and proud to see Edmund was the one to defeat her.
Caspian and Peter looked at the boy shocked, while he stared at them annoyed. "I know, you had it sorted."
Edmund walked away, leaving the two boy's alone. Aurora knew at that moment, she needed the boy back, she wanted to be back to normal, to how it used to be, even if he was going to leave again.

Edmund found himself sitting on the ledge looking down at the field. Tensions were high as others practiced, yet he needed to be alone.
Aurora saw the boy sitting down and slowly approached him. It was silent between the two, neither knowing how to start the conversation.
Surprisingly it was Aurora who broke the silence first. "You always seem to amaze me. You're extraordinarily brave, and stupid, can't forget stupid." A small smile appeared on his face, yet he didn't turn to the girl.
"You defeated the witch, your enemy," she spoke softly. "You faced your fear and won, not many can say that." "I wish I could stay here forever," he mumbled, still not looking at her. "This place feels more like my home than anywhere else."
The words hurt Aurora, though she knew he was right, he couldn't stay there forever. He wasn't from Narnia, it wasn't his true home.
"You have to enjoy your time here while you can. You have to do everything that makes you happy," she whispered.
Edmund finally looked at her, his eyes scanning her beautiful, pale face. She really was an ice warrior, skin almost as white as snow. He would always love her, she was his best friend, his everything.
"Where ever I am, I will always care for you, whether it be here or Narnia, I'll always miss you," he told her. "I've realised I can't always stay here."
"I wish you could," Aurora said, causing him to shake his head. "But I can't." "I hate it when you're not around," she admitted. She wanted to tell him exactly how she felt, but she couldn't, he would soon leave again and she'd be broken hearted.
"You know I love you, right, Edmund?" she whispered. The word's made his heart start racing. Of course he loved her, she was his best friend, so she loved him too.
"I love you too, Rory." He loved her more than she knew, more than he knew,

I know it's been a while since I updated, I'm sorry. I've gotten a promotion at work and it's been so stressful. I'm trying my best, but still struggling with time to write, and sleep and eat, so I'm prioritising and writing is at the bottom of the list.
