She Wasn't Being Kind To Be Nice, But For Ulterior Motives.

-------- -------- ❄️ -------- --------

A loud yell escaped Aurora's mouth as she went flying into the ice wall. She was fighting, this time not with a wolf, but Jadis herself.

"How can you manage to withstand the prophecy, if you are unable to stand me?!"

The woman was angry, more so than she ever had been. Aurora quickly got up in a defensive position, ready to fight. "I am able to handle myself against you." Jadis laughed as she cast ice towards the girl. Aurora used her sword to block the spell, which caused it to hit the wall behind the Queen.

Jadis looked towards her niece in shock. The girl had blocked a spell, something nobody should have been able to do. She was becoming powerful. It was working. Jadis was finally starting to see traits of her sister in the girl.

"You have done well," Jadis told the girl, before walking away. "I'm not finished!" Aurora yelled, yet she was ignored as the door was slammed shut.

Aurora frowned as she went to open it. The door had been locked. Why was it locked? The door was never locked.

She screamed as she hit the door, though nobody cared, either that or they couldn't hear.

"I will never surrender," she whispered to herself. "I will never give up until you are proud."

The girl looked up to the statue of a woman. "I will make you proud, mother." A tear as cold as ice fell down Aurora's face.

~ ❄️ ~

Jadis was smirking as she realised that Edmund had returned. She was going to get everything she wanted. The best thing, her niece was becoming as powerful as her sister, at last. She knew the girl was very similar to her sister, both not aging after their teenage years. Aurora was becoming the same Ice Warrior, hopefully she wouldn't share all the same traits.

When she got to her throne, she wasn't surprised to see Edmund sitting on it. He was imagining ruling the kingdom. Foolish boy.

"You like it!"

Edmund jumped at the sound of the Queen's voice, moving off the throne. "Yeah. I mean yes your majesty!" he said.

She smiled, though it was one of annoyance, not that the foolish boy could tell. He was alone, his siblings not with him. She was close, yet so far.

"Tell me, your sisters, are they deaf?" she questioned. He shook his head. "And your brother, is he unintelligent?"

"Well, I think so, but mum says-"

"Enough!" Jadis yelled, finally having enough of the boy. "How dare you come alone! I ask so little of you!"

"They just don't listen to me!" He told the Queen. He tried so hard to bring them, yet he didn't, not all the way at least. Perhaps that would be enough to make the Queen happy. "I did bring them half way. They're at the dam, at the house of the beaver's."

Jadis smiled as she looked at the boy. He wasn't completely useless, he did the difficult bit. She just had to finish the job. He really did want to become King. Stupid boy.

She allowed her hand to go down his cheek as she allowed her eyes to scan the boy's face. He looked so much like Earthan. The dark slightly curly hair, dark brown eyes. Earthan and Crystal.
