The day was drawing to a close in Camelot, the King, Queen, two Knights of the round table and Gaius were stood around Merlin as he was sat in bed.
"I can't fall asleep with you all watching me" the boy expressed hopelessly.
After he told the knights of the crystal he had then told Gwen and his Mentor, everybody was pleased when they heard the news, finally the Warlock may be able to sleep a full night through and without the nightmare. Not only that but his friends could also get some sleep after their weeks of night shifts watching over the boy.
"He's right we should leave him be" The Physician reasoned.
With reluctance his friends agreed and left but not before saying:
"Night" Leon smiled.
"Sleep well" Gwen whispered softly whilst kissing the boy on the forehead.
"Good Luck Merls" Percival nodded.
"Good Night, my boy" Gaius said fondly.
Arthur was the last one to leave, he had placed his hand onto his servants arm "I'll be right outside if you need me" the King reassured his friend.
Merlin nodded and the blonde walked over to the door. "Arthur?" The raven began, causing the King to turn round and face him "Thank you."
Arthur smiled "Get some rest" and with that the he left Merlin's chambers.

No Windows.
No doors.
Fire.
Fire.
Fire.
You would have thought nothing to have changed once Merlin had arrived to the inescapable room of his dreams. But it had. The boy's crystal pendant shone a bright red glow. Although the room still had fire blazing around the boarders, chandelier and curtains the Warlock could now move around the chequered floor without an uncontrollable flame chasing him. He waited there for what felt like hours, the Raven sat, knees crossed and leaning his chin hopelessly on his hand not knowing what to do. Until finally, across the room, three hooded figures appeared.
"Merlin?"
The boy rose his head from looking down at the floor, seeing the faces of his old friends who were all in the process of lowering their hoods. A grin quickly emerged on the Merlin's face.
"Gwaine!" The Raven jumped to his feet and ran over to his friend embracing the normally drunken knight in a tight hug. Gwaine retracted from the arms of his friend, a look of confusion plastered on his face.
"Merlin? What's going on? Why are you here? If you can touch us does that mean? Are you...?" The Knight's expression contorted to one of sadness. The Warlock was utterly confused and had no idea what Gwaine was referring too.
"I don't understand..."
"Merlin have you... did you die?" Elyan now spoke up, upon seeing that the long-haired Knight didn't know what to say, his words too were laced with sadness.
The Ravens eyes widened in realisation "What... no no I'm still alive... I'm just asleep."
"But the flames, they're controlled?" Gwaine reasoned.
Merlin indicated to his necklace "It allows me to control the flames in my sleep so I can talk to you" The shaggy haired knight laughed and quickly drew the boy into the hug which he had previously removed himself from.
Lancelot now stepped forward "How are you here in your sleep?"
"Beats me, I'm transported here every night."
