I'll skip pass the boring moments of moving across the country to grandmother old house. Arriving it was the same as before. As I thought, it looked bad and I really felt ashamed of letting it get this bad. The once bright red now looked faded and just plain awful. Tiles falling from the roof, i knew that there would be damage inside. Its a good thing i rented out storage for all my stuff to go into. I knew it needed work but this is going to take a lot, which means im going to have to spend all my savings. Sighing I took the key from my bag and opened the door. Looking into the the open space. Its damp and dusty.

Okay. I clap my hands together. First things first. I pull my phone out and call a old friend. Someone I havent spoken to since i moved from here. Hopefully he will be willing to lend a hand, if he's still about that is.

The phone rang and rang and rang again untill his voice finally came thought the speaker.

"Hello"

I froze hearing his voice again after so long. Maybe this was a bad idea.

"Hello" he spoke again.

Taking a breath i answer.

"Hey Adam"

"Who's this" he asked.

"I dont know of you remeber me but its Hannah"

"Oh shit Hannah Stone. Its been a long time" he shouts.

"Yeah um sorry to bother you its just" i pause thinking of the right words "im back in town and im looking for a handyman to fix up my granmothers old house. I thought you may know someone"

"You called the right guy. I'll be there in five" he hung up.

Pulling the phone from my ear with a confused look on my face. Within minutes I hear him calling my name.

I walk to the front door to see him walking down the path. You see my granmothers house it just off the street leading into the woodland area.  Behide the house the woods go on for miles.

"Hannah stone" Adam smirks.

"Hi" i say a bit uncomfortable.

"Well don't you look even better than the day you left me" his chuckles.

I didnt answer. I felt awkward as hell because the last time i saw him was when i ran away from here, not once did I ever think I was going to come back.

"Hey don't be like that, it's old news plus I understood why you did what you did" he smiles slightly.

Flashback

"Dont go please we can work this out" Adam shouts at me while I pack my bag.

"How" i reply coldly.

"We can go to the police" he answered.

"I tried that, they didn't believe me. No one ever believes me. I cant do this anymore I need to leave" i scream.

I dont have long until my parents come back. I quickly grab my bag and my purse before making my exit.

Adam follows shouting my name.

"Hannah....Hannah"

"No Adam I need to leave. I cant stay here" the tears escape my eyes falling down to the ground. I cant remeber the last time i cried.

"Dont leave me"

Those three words I depressly didn't want to hear. Those three words broke my heart into pieces and what I did next shattered his.
