The quintet had been writing all afternoon, and it started to get dark.

"Alright, let's read off what we wrote and then figure out which one we like the most. After that, we can call it a day," Chile said.

"Ugh... do we have to read them out loud? Mine is so cringe....," America said.

"How about we just hand it around in a circle? We each take turns reading each other's and at the end we choose. It might feel less awkward then reading out loud," Australia suggested.

"That sounds better," Mexico said. Australia, Mexico, Chile, and America sat at the table.

"Nada, aren't you gonna share yours?" America asked. Canada was sitting in the corner looking out the window.

"No... I'm good. Mine is stupid anyway," Canada said.

"Are you sure?" America asked. Canada smiled.

"Yep! You guys just do your thing," Canada said. America was concerned, but decided he would talk to Canada later at the hotel. The four began to share what they wrote.

"Huh, I'd say we all did pretty good for our first try. So, which one are we gonna do?" Chile asked.

"Well, I like all of them, but Mexico's kinda fits the whole 'Heart Poppin' theme, don't you think?" America said.

"Yeah, and it's a bit more song-like. Its kinda hard to make things more song-like than poem-like," Australia said.

"We're sticking with Mexico's then?" Chile asked. The four of them nodded in agreement. With that, the Heart Poppin Bois headed to their hotel rooms. When the trio got to theirs, America walked into the bathroom with Canada.

"Is everything ok Canada? You seem a bit down," America asked.

"I'm ok, I think I'm just a bit tired. A lot of stuff happened today and I'm a bit hungover," Canada said. America nodded.

"Ok, well, if you need anything just tell me," America said. Canada nodded.

That night while everyone was sleeping, America noticed something white slightly sticking out of Canada's jacket pocket. His curiosity getting the better of him, he took out the white thing. It was a piece of paper, with Canada's song written on it. If he could read it, he was quite sure he'd like it, however Canada scratched out the lyrics, and just wrote notes about how unbelievably nervous he was about being a star... but he didn't want to disappoint his friends.

America sighed and put the paper back in his brothers jacket pocket. He felt really bad for Canada, but he didn't know how to make him feel better. Just then, America suddenly remembered something.

"Is it still open?" America whispered to himself, looking it up on his phone. "Heck yeah, I know what's for breakfast tomorrow,".

The next day, America lead the Heart Poppin Bois through the town.

"We've been walking forever now! Where are we going Ame?" Australia asked.

"Just trust me," America said. He lead them to a small crepe shop near the center of the town. Canada recognized this place immediately.

"Aw no way! We haven't been here in years!" Canada exclaimed excitedly, wearing a big smile. America was relieved to see his brother happy.

"You've been here before?" Chile asked.

"Yep. We were on a long trip visiting a few provinces and states for a camping trip. We stopped here on the way back home and visited it every time we came back into town ever since," America said. The quintet walked in the building and were greeted by Nice. (That's her name don't make fun of her).

"Ah! Canada, America, and Australia! I haven't seen you three in years! Where's New Zealand?" Nice exclaimed.

"Zee actually just headed back home today. We're staying in town a bit longer because Hollywood wants to turn us into stars," Australia said. Nice laughed.

"Ah yes, Hollywood is always wandering around the city looking for talent. Come! Sit down! I'll get you five some menus!" Nice said, motioning towards a table with five chairs. The quintet sat down and started talking about life and othe- wait, no. Not making that mistake again.

Soon, they ordered their food. While they were waiting for Nice to bring out their crepes, Los Angeles walked up to them.

"Ame! Nice to see you! Hollywood just called me last night and told me all about your new boy band! Thanks for humoring him, he's been kinda down about the fact that nobody around here wants to be famous," Los Angeles said.

"No problem, we just wanted a bit of fun. I'm glad he's having a good time as well," America said. Los Angeles smiled.

"Well, guess I'll see you again at your first concert!" Los Angeles joked.

"I guess so! Take care!" America exclaimed. Los Angeles waved as they walked away. The quintet finished up their food and went back to their music room.

"Ok, we got the lyrics, now we just need to get the music!" Australia exclaimed. America hummed in thought.

"I just realized... are we doing pop?" America asked.

"I guess so, why?" Chile asked. America sighed.

"Well... I play the fiddle... which might work, but I only really play country music," America said.

"Don't you play piano as well though?" Canada asked.

"I'm a jazz pianist," America said.

"What about guitar?" Mexico asked.

"Country, again," America said. Australia sighed.

"Y'know what? I'm more into rock anyway, which isn't too different from country music. Why don't we do a rock song instead?" Australia asked.

"I could do that," Chile said.

"So, rock it is then?" Canada asked. The quintet nodded in agreement. "Then by god let's get ready to rock!" Canada exclaimed.
