Quietly I sit in the room. The same room as I said goodbye to Finnick. But everyone who will enter this room now, will say goodbye to me. Forever. I'm dead, this is hopeless. I can't win, I can't kill. If someone really learned me how to fight, I would have had a chance. But I can't do it like this. I bury my head in my hands and start to sob. The door opens and I look up, seeing the most horrible person in the world entering the room. 'You...' I whisper in anger through my tears. 'It's great you got Reaped, now you couldn't change your mind.' She says smirking. I stand up, I'm going to die anyways, this is the moment I can stand up for myself. 'You filthy witch! Making your only daughter fight into a game to the death! You never loved me, you only wanted to use me! I'm going to die, and you know it! You know I'm a weak little girl who can't even harm a bee! You sick person, you make me wanna puke. Leave this room, now. Leave and never come back, I don't want to see you anymore. I don't want to remember you. I want to die in peace.' I point at the door. 'Get out.' I say with a meaningless tone in my voice. I don't care anymore, let her disappear out of my life. 'You're ho-'

'GET OUT!' I scream at my loudest while I run to the door and throw it open. The peacekeepers stare at me in amazement. 'Get her away from me.' I tell one of them. He nods and comes in, walking straight towards my mother. He grabs her by her arms and pulls her out of the room. She's screaming things, but I don't listen anymore. She's gone and she'll never return.

No one else comes to visit me, no one else likes me. I wipe my tears off of my face and they escort me into the car, which will take us to the train. Next to me sits our escort, who's name seems to be Preona. 'Aren't you excited darlings?!' She says happily. I ignore her and stare out of the window. Felix sighs. 'Would you be excited if you're going to get killed?' He asks Preona annoyed. 'Well, you're not going to get killed! At least one of you will survive, I promise.' She says with a smile. 'You better keep that promise.' I mumble. We get to the train and enter. It's so gigantic! I can't believe it! It looks a bit like Finnick's house.

Finnick. I feel like something breakes inside of me. Where would he be? At home? Watching me getting Reaped? I take a seat in the middle of the train and Felix sits down next to me. 'Annie?' He asks softly. I turn my head and look at him. 'Yes?' I whisper trying to stop my eyes from watering. 'Are you alright?' I shake my head. 'No...' I whisper back. 'I'm sorry that this had to happen to you. But listen up, Preona was right, one of us will survive. And I'll make sure it's you. I'll protect you.' He says while he lays his hand on mine. I stare at him, confused, surprised and amazed. 'I... I... No, you don't have to.' I stutter. 'But I want to.' He tells me. I pull my hand back, feeling pain in my stomach. I won't let anyone die for me. That's horrible.

'Felix, Annie, your mentor is coming soon.' Preona says who enters the room. She smiles at us and takes a seat. 'Mags?' Felix asks her. 'No, Mags is becoming to old, she stopped mentoring this year. So the new victor is doing it.' The new victor? 'Er... Would that be Finnick?' I whisper, not sure if I hope it or not. 'Yes, Finnick Odair is your mentor.' My mouth opens widely and a tear rolls down my face. 'Can... Can I see him?' I ask getting too emotional. 'Of course, he will be here in a second.' I stare at the door, waiting for Finn to come in. After five years... Five long years...

The door opens and I stare at a guy. Blonde hair, and blue eyes, just like the sea. I see strong hands, who once held me. I see soft lips, who once touched mine. I see a sad smile, which once was happy.
