It's been forever since I've updated, because of family issues. AlSo I've been busy playing on my ps4 haha... yeah sorry I'm extremely lazy. I've decided that I want Annabeth to look and sound like this. (Listen to the girl in the video, and here is a picture of her more clearly.) sorry for putting this out so late.

Yes it is a video game character, but I've always thought Annabeth would look and sound something like this, so yeah :) Annabeth's Pov

Annabeth's Pov

I was getting ready for school, putting on a pair of jeans, a long sleeve gray shirt, and putting on a faded orange shirt over the gray shirt. I put my hair up in a ponytail, and threw on my worn out black converse. I walked out into the hallway. I had cut my hair the night before out of frustration. I was praying that Barrett wouldn't be upset.

Then I remembered that Barrett wouldn't be home today. She had to go to a workshop today. Jessica, Evan, and Alice would be looking after me.

There in the living room stood Jessica, which I was relieved to see. Jessica was one of my favorite people. She was funny when she needed to be, and extremely loving when she needed to be.

"Woah, kid what's with the new hairdo?" Jessica asked, clearly taken back by my new short hair. Well, it wasn't that short. It went to about my shoulders. Still, my hair used to go down to my waist. But Jessica couldn't see that, because my hair was pulled into a ponytail.

"Well, I was having a panic attack last night, and my only way to cope was through cutting my hair." I shrugged.

"Ah, I see." Jessica said, while walking over to me. She gave me a big hug, and I returned it.

After about 15 seconds of hugging, Jessica pulled apart.

"Alright kid, let's get you to school. You have a big day, with auditions and all." Jessica told me. She seemed tired today.

We walked out the door, rain pouring down. I didn't notice the heavy storm before, so I was caught by surprise. I took my backpack and put it over my head, to shield myself from the rain.

"Jeez, this is a heavy rain, huh?" Jessica complained.

"Yeah, I've never seen a storm this bad." I said. I could barely see a foot in front of me, and the wind was extremely powerful. I was hoping we would be able to drive, because my auditions were today.

We were walking, when we finally reached the car. We quickly rushed into Jessica car, and buckled the seatbelts. We both took deep breaths before Jessica started the car.

"Sheesh, that took way more effort than it should have." Jessica said. She was right, it was way harder to get to the car than normally. The wind was hard to push through, and you couldn't see through the rain. I was questioning how I couldn't have noticed it sooner.

Jessica turned the key, and we started moving towards the school.

"So, are you excited about the auditions?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, I'm a little nervous though." I replied.

"Just really conjure her up in your mind. Think, 'What would the character of Annabeth Chase act like?'" Jessica offered.

"Thanks Jess."

"No problem. Agh, I can't see anything! Annie, you might be late." Jessica said.

"That's fine. It's not like I want to go to school anyways. I only care for the auditions." I shrugged.

"That's not a very positive attitude, now is it it?" Jessica told me.

"I guess not, but I'm just being honest." I explained.

"Mhm, yeah." Jessica sighed.

We were driving peacefully. Well, as peacefully as it can get when the wind is raging, and the rain is blinding you. We were driving right next to an overflowing river. This river was huge, about as wide as a house. This all scared the crap out of me.1

We were driving straight down to road, almost to my school , when suddenly this car going about 90 mph flew in from the left side, which was Jessica's side.

It hit us, and knocked Jessica's car right into the overflowing river, which was much deeper than I thought it was. I screamed as her car began sinking in the water.

"Would now be a good time to mention I can't swim?!" I yelled, my breathing getting faster. We still had time to get out, though already half of the car was under the river. I began to move my arm, but I cried out, realizing the intense pain shooting down it.

I gasped when I saw Jessica, who wasn't responding. Her head was bleeding heavily, and her arms had shards of glass in them. I luckily wasn't injured terribly, maybe a broken arm, and lots of cuts. Jessica on the other hand looked like she had a concussion. I felt my hot tears pour down my freckled face. I began to desperately bang on the car door, but it was no use. The door wouldn't budge. The water was rising, and there was nothing I could do. The banging on the door only made my arm hurt worse.

I decided I needed to get Jessica out, because she was helpless at this point. I grabbed my bag, which was on the dashboard. The water was now almost over my chest. I took my phone out, and frantically called the police.

"Hello?!? Please help, my sister and I were hit, and we landed in a river. The doors are locked, and my sister is unconscious." I said quickly, tears joining the pool of water.

"Honey calm down. Where are you?" The operator asked.

"I- we are on the road to Peterson middle school." I told them, my breathing getting faster.

"Alright, hang tight. Authorities are on their way." The operator reassured me. The water was up to my chin. My phone wasn't gonna last in this water.

"Please hurry, the water is rising quickly-" and with that it disconnected. The water had gotten in the charger hole, and now my phone wasn't working.

I silently cursed, as the water went over my mouth. I threw the phone down into the water, and watched as it sank. Jessica was about to go underwater as well, and I couldn't save her. I moved through her flooded car over to her, and rested my head on her bleeding chest. The water was flooding fast, and was now right under my nose.

I felt more tears, as the water was now over my nose, and almost over my head. I closed my eyes, and heard the sirens of the police cars, that were distant.

It had been around 17 seconds, and I couldn't hold my breath any longer. The feeling of no oxygen in my lungs was terrible. I was prepared to die.

I fought, and fought to stay awake, but it wasn't any use. I couldn't breath.

Jessica... I love you. I love Barrett, and Ryan, and Elle, and every single member of the cast. They would see no more of Annabeth and Jessica. This is...

The Last of Us.

HAH cliffhanger :) what do you think of Annabeth's looks and voice? Please tell me if you like it.
