WOW! We are growing fast! I woke up to barely 700 views, and now we are over 800! "I fEeL gRaTttE" as Veronica would say. Katie fluff because it was requested lol. Yeah, Melabeth won't last long. Into the chapter. I seriously need to give Annie a break soon, but not right now.

Annabeth's Pov
I was waiting outside with Melanie. Katie was going to pick me up, and we were going to Target before heading to the theatre.
When I saw Katie's car pull up, I squealed and gave Melanie a quick hug. I saw Katie get out of her car. I ran to her, and jumped into her arms, giving her a massive hug.
"KATIE!!" I squealed while running.
"Annie! My goodness it's been forever." Katie exclaimed. She carried me to the car, and put me in the seat. I glanced over at Melanie, but her face surprised me.
Her face was full of pure jealousy, but when she noticed me she gave me a bright smile. I blinked, and gave a smile back. Katie and I drove off to Target.
Guys, this next part is gonna be slightly unrealistic. I just needed Heathers to stay in business for a little while longer lol.
"Alright, Annie guess what?" Katie asked.
"Yeah? What is it?" I questioned, still bouncing up and down in my seat like an idiot.
"Heathers is going on Broadway!!" Katie squealed. I screamed, this was the best news I had gotten in a while.
"OH MY GOODNESS, WE NEED TO CELEBRATE!" I exclaimed.
"Yep, we are after this show. We have about 8 more shows before we officially go on Broadway." Katie said, grinning from ear to ear.
"OHMYGOD I AM SO EXCITED!" I shrieked. Both Katie and I giggled uncontrollably.
"Alright, I love you, but we need to talk about something a little more serious." Katie's face went from excited, to a much more serious expression. My face dropped.
"What is it?" I asked, gulping.
"Well, Alice told me about this morning. Barrett's been incredibly stressed today, because she thinks you mean what you said. Do you mean it?" Katie tried getting the truth out of me.
"No, I love Barrett more than I love myself. I just didn't understand how she could possibly understand how I felt. Now I know that she can relate, and she just meant to comfort me. I need to apologize to my mama as soon as I see her..." I said, tears starting to form.
"Shh...it's fine. Let's just enjoy ourselves and go on a shopping spree." Katie said. She turned on Satisfied from Hamilton. I hummed along to the song.
We drove peacefully, not really talking to each other. We just gripped each other's hands from time to time. I was looking out the window, deep into thought. One thing that kept coming back to me was Melanie.
Did I really love her? I mean, she was nice and all, but I mostly did that because I felt bad for her. I didn't know if I was really into girls. I didn't have a problem with people who are lesbian, but I didn't consider myself one. I sighed, and pulled out my phone.
I decided to text Melanie, and tell her how I truly felt.
Me: Hey Mel.
Melanie: Hey Ann! Wanna go out tomorrow?
Me: Well actually, I needed to talk to you.
Melanie: Yeah, Anna you're scaring me. What is it?
Me: I just don't think we're gonna work out. You're so nice and all, but I just don't think I'm into girls. I hope we can be friends though.
Melanie didn't respond. I silently cursed, knowing I had hurt her. Katie pulled up to the Target parking lot, and pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Let's go spend all of my money!" Katie screamed. I laughed, and walked with her into the Target.
Time skip
Katie and I were both laughing hysterically, because we got some of the strangest things. We got into her car, and started singing Big Fun at the top of our lungs. At this point, I was having so much fun, that I completely forgot about Melanie.
Melanie's Pov
My heart stop when I saw Annabeth send that message. I loved her too much. She was everything to me. I started breathing heavily. I was walking home, because my parents were out of town. I burst into tears, and ran fast to my house.
When I arrived, I jumped onto my couch and grabbed my pillow. I started sobbing, and throwing pillows all around the room.
Annabeth was all I had to keep me sane. How would I act without her? I was breathing heavily, sobbing hysterically, and screaming to the top of my lungs occasionally.
I was about to throw another pillow, when I suddenly took notice of my dads gun. I smiled, and laughed in between tears. I was truly going insane.
I put the gun in my pocket, and made a rash decision to got to Annabeth's apartment. I knew she wouldn't be home. She was telling me about how she was going shopping with Katie Ladner.
I loved Barrett Wilbert Weed and Ryan McCartan. They were my idols. But Annabeth needed to learn a lesson.
If I couldn't have her, no one could.
Eek, cliffhanger. Can anyone guess what's going to happen? I'm sorry, I keep torturing Annie over and over. I literally can't think of any happy chapters for her. All my plans are evil. I'll probably make them go to an event or something later on. Cya!
