Lets Make This Beautiful

Annabeth's Pov

My jaw dropped. Even though I knew she was gonna ask, I was still shocked that something this amazing could happen to me. Obviously, my response was:
"YES!!" I practically flew into Barret's arms. That earned a small chuckle from the cast.

There was a knock on the door. I let out a small cry, thinking my dad was behind the door. I hugged Barret tighter. Barret rubbed my back. "Shh, it's probably just Alice. Here, can someone take her so I can open the door?"

"I'll get her." Elle offered. Barret set me on the couch. I snuggled into Elle, and was hyperventilating like crazy.

Barret opened the door, and it revealed Alice, already eating a slice of pizza. I let out small sigh of relief. Alice walked in and set the pizza box down. It was a Hawaiian pizza, with extra ham. I gasped and ran towards the pizza box, instantly stealing a piece.
The cast laughed, and I chuckled with pizza in my mouth.

"Alright, you know I love you, but you can't eat while wearing my blazer, silly." Barret told me. I humphed,  not wanting to take off her comfy  blazer. I took it off anyways, and handed it to her.

"That reminds me, we are still in full costume. We should change before we eat. Some of us can get kind of messy." Jessica said, staring at Ryan.

"What? I'm not that messy-" Ryan started.

"Shush, Jesse James. I'm hungry." Elle said, joining the conversation. I laughed at the insult, and so did Alice.

"Yeah, I was reminded by the people at Pizza Hut that I was still in costume. They were staring like crazy!"

"Alright, go back to your dressing rooms and change. Annabeth, do you mind stepping out?" Barret ordered. I nodded and stepped out to let her change. The others walked to their dressing rooms to change as well.

Barret opened the door and let me step in. She was wearing a simple white t-shirt and a black skirt. She wore black high top converse. We chatted for awhile, waiting for the rest to flood in.

Jessica came in, wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt with white jeans.

Both Alice and Elle arrived. Elle was wearing a plaid skirt, with a dark blue turtle neck sweater. Alice was wearing a grey tank top with black ripped jeans.

Ryan was the last one to come in. He was just wearing a red polo shirt and black jeans. We all sat down and took some pizza. Elle started to pull something out of her bag. It was UNO!

"You are all going down!" Ryan shrieked.
"Calm down, trench coat kid. I wouldn't get too excited, your all going down like the Titanic." I told them.
"It's all fun in games until it's my turn. Watch out." Alice said.
Elle simply just rolled her eyes, in a playful way.
Barret snorted. "Puh-lease. I'm a bad b you can't beat me." Yes that is a vine reference.

We all gathered in a circle around the stack of uno cards. It kind of reminded me of a cult, where we worshipped uno. Jessica began shuffling the cards.

"So, was there anything I missed while I was out?" Alice asked.
"Annie is being adopted by Barret!" Elle exclaimed.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS TELL ME?!" Alice yelled.
"Suspense, duh." I said, laughing a little bit.
"Anyways," Alice said, regaining her composure. "That is really exciting. I'm sure this will be a better place for you."
"Alright. The cards are shuffled. Let the games began!" Jessica said.

Time skip

I ended up winning every game. Sucks to suck. The cast started gathering up their stuff.
"Ready to go home, Annie?" Barret asked me.
I nodded. I was exhausted.
"See you guys later! We should have a celebration party once Annie is officially adopted." Ryan suggested before leaving. Barret grabbed her backpack and waved to Elle, Jessica, and Alice.
"Alright! We can leave now." Barret told me. I followed her down the hall. She pushed the class door open and led me to get car. I was squeezing her hand tightly, scared to let go. I didn't want my dad to come and take me away.
