----------------- Shelby's House -------------------

She slowly becomes self-aware of her surroundings again. She felt a small amount of pressure on her shoulder. Her head moves, her nose twitches and her eyes slowly begin to open. Her yellow eyes stare blindly at the ceiling above her. The pressure on her shoulder moves, and threw the remaining blur, she could see the face of her dog, Shadow.

Her ears were ringing, but she could hear Shadow begin to bark loudly, trying to get somebody's attention.

She blinks, slowly moving her arms which were still waking up too. She tilted her head onto the side, blinks a few times, and her vision almost fully comes back. Her throat was dry, she couldn't talk very well. She could see the sun shining brightly out of her windows. She takes a deep breath and glances around, Shadow still barking loudly.

On her nightstand were a bunch of vases were several of her favourite flowers inside, flowers that she had grown herself with her Nature powers.

She didn't know the time, or the day.

Suddenly, she hears the creaking of somebody coming up the ladders. She moved her head quickly, and she regretted it as dizziness washed over her. She groaned weakly as her vision fades in and out again. She lays her head flat against her pillow and rubs her eyes.

Once she moves her hands away, she sees the 4 little orange hearts on her left wrist, just like it was before. She hears the trapdoor open as she puts her arms down, shakily.

She hears a gasp as somebody climbs out of the hole in the floor and rushes over to the side of the bed. Her vision was still blurry, but only a little, she could make out the light blueish-teal hair and blue eyes of Scott standing next to her.

"Shelby!" he says, "Thank god...! You're okay!" he says, checking her forehead with the palm of his hand. Shelby blinks a few times, "S-Scott...?" she mumbles, throat still dry as all heck.

Scott nods, "Yeah, it's me..." he smiles, "You're awake now..." he says.

"How... H-How long have I b-been... sleeping?" she questions.

Scott takes a deep breath, "About 2 and a half months now..." he says.

Shelby's eyes widen, "H-How...?" she asks. She had so many questions. Scott sits down next to her after getting Shadow to finally calm down. Shadow jumps off of the bed to give Scott and Shelby space.

"You... you almost died again after you fell from the Coven's floating island. You hit your head pretty hard on the ground. I'm surprised you didn't die. You didn't get your broom out on time before you hit the ground" Scott explains, "So... you went into a coma" he says, finishing off his statement.

Shelby blinks a few times, her eyes still wide. "I... we all took care of your pets for you!" Scott smiles, trying to make Shelby feel a little better.

Shelby takes a dry, but deep breath, "T-Thank you..." she says, and then coughs a few times. It finally came to Scott's attention that Shelby's throat was pretty dry, and she was struggling to speak.

"I'll go get you some water" he smiles before getting off the bed and heading down the ladder.

Shelby takes deep breaths as her mind wanders. How did she survive that fall? Slowly, everything was coming back to her from that day. How she went tumbling off of the island after backing up too far. Her and Gemini were doing a race to the centre of the path, but she backed up too far, and fell headfirst off of the island, plummeting to the earth below.

Gemini had tried to save her, but she wasn't quick enough.

Scott arrives next to her and sits the glass of water on the nightstand, "Here, let's sit you up" he says.
