5 - Walls

Hi! For all those who are troubled by Sakura's nervousness around Erwin, just let it go. I wrote it not because she was scared of them, okay? Of course, they were the higher ups, and it's just normal to get nervous being with them in the same room. It is not about strength, it is about ranks, got it? Just like how she feels when Tsunade is serious with her.

CHAPTER 5

"No way...That girl died? What happened after I passed out?"

Sakura couldn't believe what she had just heard. She just stared at Hange with her eyes widened in surprise. She couldn't form a word. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest as she tore her gaze into Levi, who was glaring at Hange but now darkly staring at her to return her gaze. Feeling the man's slowly radiating rage in the atmosphere, she looked away and stared at the grass, hands clenched on her lap. When suddenly, a blurred memory brushes her mind for a split second.

<<< FLASHBACK (Chapter 2)

"Are you hurt?!" The black-haired girl shouted,

Sakura fought the urge to cough, but she failed. Great. Blood sputtered on the wood as she doubled over, closing her eyes tight from the unbearable pain that was much worse and more terrible than the last time. She groaned, then spit out all the remains of the foul taste in her mouth.

"Uh yes, I can see that." The black-haired girl bit her lip. "We need to get out of here—"

Sakura blurted out; the girl's voice was fuzzy, so she couldn't comprehend what she was saying. "I-I need to find someone..." She said, preparing to stand. She must have startled the other girl as she freaks out while detaching her harness and lands beside Sakura to help her up.

"Don't worry- we'll take care of that. But first, you need to get treatment." She whispered, confusion slowly creeping out of her guts. "...Can you describe that person?"

"N-Narut—" She didn't even manage to complete her sentence as she noticed the tiny black spots covering her eyes. She lowered herself slowly, the pink haired kunoichi shook her head, trying to stay awake. Her chest moved up and down aggressively as the oxygen left her lungs. Knowing that she will black out any second from now, and she cannot think of any other person but him. "I-I need t-to find h-him..." She rasped.

"Yes, yes. Just be calm, okay?" The strange girl said, but Sakura was now fighting to stay awake. Making her incapable of hearing everything around her.

She made up her mind and burst her chakra, hoping that she would find his location.

"Hey! Stop! What are you doing?" The girl panics as she doubles over from a sudden tug from her gut. She can feel the great amount of energy radiating off of Sakura. But the pink-haired girl burst her chakra again and again, probably covering the entire forest but found nothing. She was so focused on finding her friend that...
