HI! I'm finally back after three fvcking months! I'm so happy to write again, and I hope that you're still going to read this story even if it's pure shit. Again, this is my first time writing a story, so pls be considerate~(>_<。). Sorry for the delay... I had no idea how difficult it is to create a plot and make everything fit together. (And I'm lazy as hell.) I have a lot of crazy scenarios in mind but it's just too hard to connect them to the twist that I'm planning.

Regarding the grammar, I'm terribly sorry because this is the hardest thing that I can do. If I want it to be perfect. Anyway, here's the continuation! Enjoy!

CHAPTER 24

Eren was sitting on Sakura's bed, staring at the dull-looking wall. The recent scene kept playing in his head, piercing his heart painfully like a broken piece of glass. All he could feel was disappointment, which is pretty reasonable on his side, but a part of him wanted him to remain calm as he remembered her face. How she looked was just so heartbreaking, like her emotions just exploded after bottling them for a very long time.

Brows furrowing as another thought crossed his mind, the thing that she had said... what did she mean by that? Save each other's worlds? A certain theory builds inside his mind, and it's just too much for him to believe.

"She must have woken you up." Hange greeted sullenly.

Eren almost jumped from the voice erupting through the whole dungeon. He was so out of it that he didn't even notice their footsteps. Recognizing the visitors as his superiors, he immediately formed a salute to which they responded with a flick of the hand. He dropped his fist to his side and clenched it, looking for the right word regarding Sakura.

With one swift scan of the room, Levi commented, "I assume she also takes everything she owns." Hange bit her lip. They were stunned to even stop Sakura when she fled the room in a panic, and to found out later on that she left the castle using her horse. They just watched her from the window as her figure became smaller and smaller by seconds.

"Captain..." Eren called out with a shaky voice, getting both of their attention. "What happened? Why did she just leave like that?"

But as usual, it was Hange who always answers on his behalf. "We were just discussing in the office when suddenly she collapsed-" Eren pressed his lips together, his heart pounding loudly in his chest. "-and I think it's because I triggered something in her memory." Hange played with her hands. It was making her feel guilty to why it all ended up like this. "She kept saying they're dead... we knew that it's really serious so..." She stopped, ending it with a stressed sigh.

Considering that he's now filled with the whole truth, he felt bad. Of course, there would be a reason. And now that he thinks about it, perhaps what Sakura was talking about earlier was about saving her home? Getting revenge? Yeah, that makes sense.

"S-So... What do we do now?" Eren whispered, hearing a loud scoff from Levi.

"Hope for the best." He firmly stated, then turned back, starting to leave the dungeon. "If anyone wonders where she goes, say that we send her on a mission. We're just going to report to Erwin." He commanded Eren, who responded with a determined nod, then followed the two to see them off.
