CHAPTER 11

Sakura stopped. After letting her mind wander for a while, she finally found what she had been searching for.

"This is it." She muttered, seeing the dried tiny puddle of her blood from that day. Thanks to the moonlight seeping through the forest, it made it possible to find it. She remembers coughing up blood before she jumped down to walk on the ground. Looking around, she immediately recognized the same position of the trees and bushes. Yup, this is definitely it.

Sakura crouched down and examined the wood with deep concentration, placing her palm directly where she woke up. She closed her eyes. There's nothing strange. She thought she would find at least a portal, but it seems like it's not the case here. She snapped her eyes open with a frown. She sighed, trying to calm herself down.

"Naruto?!" She shouted, but not loud enough to echo through the entire place. She called for him, just because maybe.... maybe he's here. Who knows?

Her shoulders slumped. She knew no one was here except her because she had already inspected the area and didn't even realize she had passed this section once before because she was preoccupied with wanting to sleep. Due to the large scale of this forest, finding a tiny bit of evidence that she really didn't know existed was really difficult, but thank Kami, she's lucky.

Oh. Wait.

Her eyes widened, remembering her other clone that she created is still doing it's job. Forming a handsign to quickly disperse her clone, she stumbled feeling exhausted two times more and a horrible memory came in.

Her brows furrowed. She wasn't the one who dispersed it, because the memory she saw was her clone encountering a titan. Since she only has one kunai, her clone doesn't have anything to carry. It is also possible that her clone didn't even bother to fight because it would just drain Sakura's energy more after it was dispersed from getting injured. She gritted her teeth.

'I knew it. A sleeping titan is suspicious enough, it's my fault that I let my guard down.' She thought and brought her hand to her chin as her brows furrowed. It's strange... After she saw the memories of her clone, confusion came into her mind. Why does her clone pass so many active titans that are desperately trying to eat her while she sees only four and they are all sleeping?

Sakura shook her head. Whatever the reason, she will think about it later. For now, she needs to complete her goal. She looked up.

'I still have a lot of time left though...' She thought before jumping up to the tree that she was standing to. There's a possibility that she came from above and fell all the way down to that branch, so she just wanted to make sure of everything before taking her leave.

After discovering nothing, Sakura lowered herself to the branch, suddenly feeling like she wanted to sleep right there at the same time. Letting out an exasperated sigh before closing her eyes, she counted all the way so she will not lose to her tired body, she needs to get back afterall. It would be a chaos if she suddenly disappeared, right?
