CHAPTER 13

"N-Naruto?!" Sakura stuttered from shock. She couldn't believe that her blonde-haired teammate who she was desperately trying to find was now here, hugging her like there was no tomorrow and on top of her too! Wait....

Sakura's face turned red in embarrassment because of their current position. She raised her fist and punched him straight in the face, which sent him flying to the wall and creating a human-like crater. What was he thinking, hugging her like that in front of a crowd?!!!

She quickly got back up to her feet to approach him, who was now seizing from the impact on the ground. Her tears were threatening to fall from her eyes as a sudden emotion crept into her mind.

"S-Sakura-chan... You don't need to punch me every time, dattebayo! That hurt---" Despite his complaints, Sakura ran towards him and hugged him back. That made him shut up. She just couldn't believe that he was finally here-----

Oops. Stop right there! That's just a teaser for you guys. If you fall for it, then I'm terribly sorry for making your hopes shattered just like that. This is not illegal, is it? Peace! Here's the true continuation!

"H-Hange-san!" Sakura stuttered. Hange is still on top of her and squeezing the life out of her with a hug. But Sakura just waited to let her go, as both of her arms were raised on Hange's shoulders, just to be ready if she couldn't take it anymore.

Thankfully, after a few seconds, Hange broke the hug and kneeled at her side while pulling Sakura's hand. Sakura took this chance to sit like a lightning mainly to save herself from embarrassment when everyone was all looking down at them with pure shock.

"Ahhhhhh! Sakura! You didn't know how much I badly wanted to meet you! I have so many things that I want to discuss with you! Like---" Sakura watched as Hange's face turned from excited to sulked, swiftly after a male voice interrupted her. She looked up after recognizing the voice and notice that everyone was now doing a salute to the commander.

"That's enough, Hange. Now stand, the both of you." By hearing this, Hange immediately helped her to get on her feet and slung her arms over Sakura's shoulder with a now controlled happiness. But Sakura, who was still stunned, just stayed quiet and let everything happen.

"Good morning, Commander Erwin."

She bowed at Erwin to express her respect, and Hange's arms slipped off her shoulders. And that's great. She felt like she could fully breathe now. For a second there, everyone stayed quiet. That made Sakura raise an eyebrow. But then she remembered, she's now a soldier! She should have saluted instead of bowing at him! She internally slapped her face for another stupid moment.

So she placed her right fist on her left chest with a firm expression. She thought that everything was fine now that she had saluted. But when a man with a mustache and black hair, about thirty to forty years old faked a cough, she noticed that he was looking intensely at her. Now, who is this man? She thought.
