I can't believe that it took me more than a month to finish this! It's so hard to manage all my nine subjects, ESPECIALLY THE MATHS!! CALCULUS IS A CURSE, THE CHEMISTRY!! ┗( T﹏T )┛Just want to rant, pls don't mind me, lol. In fact, we're just done with our prelims, so I had to post this before the midterm comes again. So, expect a longer update!

Anyways, It feels so good to be back. Pls enjoy this chapter! Let me know what you think, because tbh my mind's a little riled up rn and I just realized that I fvcked up the original plot of this story. So pls pls, let me know if it's still making senseಥ_ಥ . Again, it's my first time writing a story, so pls be considerate.

PS. I've decided to do a MAJOR REVISE (chapter1 - chapter25) so expect to experience improved grammar, new scenes, and new perceptions(if you've decided to read this all over again)! But if you're new, then kindly disregard this note. ENJOY!!!(★‿★)

CHAPTER 23

"Where's that? Are there other walls outside the wall Maria?" Naruto asks with a wary face, but his curiosity remains visible. He slightly twists his body to look at the girl beside him, silently observing every curve of her face. Heart clenching rather uncomfortably seeing her tear-stained face but chose to ignore it.

Sakura snapped her head in his direction, wiping the tear with her finger swiftly as she answered, "No no no, what I mean is... where not from this dimension. A world that is very different from this one." Returning her gaze to the city, she sighed. "Also... I still haven't completely traveled this place yet, so I cannot say for sure about another civilization."

Naruto gets more confused than before. Crooking his eyebrows, he leaned his body more in an attempt to intimidate her. "Then how? Is that even possible?" He snapped, almost raising his voice.

Sakura bit her lip. "Yes it is. And I am the only living witness, since you lost your memory and all... We're in the middle of war... We were about to die that time, but unexpectedly, the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was an unfamiliar giant forest, which was between Maria and Rose. And you're not with me, so of course I panicked." She stated, glancing at his side.

Thankfully, he's not interrupting her, seeing that his face screamed curiosity. But other than that, she felt kinda sad, missing the real him. "I was severely injured that time, so I can't do much. I fainted, then the next thing I knew, I was being held by the survey corps. I healed for a week inside under their surveilance, and on my last day, I kinda messed up by showing my ability because at that time, I was still not aware of what kind of place this really is. I thought that I was just held by another village or something. I was so shocked when I realized that they didn't know about chakra." Sakura trailed, looking at his direction. Thankfully, he was listening intently, so she continued.

"So in the end, I joined their forces to collect information, and I had no other choice. At the day, I was a trainee and at night, I'm travelling places to places to search for you. Since then, I kind of regret joining the force because it really wastes my time and energy, but... in the back of my mind... I keep thinking that you're not here in this dimension, so joining the force was like my coping mechanism?" Her voice cracked. Tears began to well up in her eyes once again.

"I don't know, maybe because I'm always used to being with a team? Or maybe because I was trying to build my new life here, make new friends, help people, and other things like how we lived back in our home, because I kept thinking that I would be stuck here forever..."
