CHAPTER 18

Something poked into her mind, but because of its vagueness, she wasn't sure if she will believe it or not. For a second, she kept quiet, slowly working on her still fuzzy brain, and gave up after not coming up with anything.

"So you're saying that... I was there the whole time?"

"No..." Sakura watched when Hange hesitated. She even notices how Hange took a side glance at the two before continuing with her story.

"No, no, no. We can not leave you in her hands. I only waited there for you to wake up until past noon, but when you didn't, I didn't know what to do, so I brought you with me back into our headquarters, fully covered, of course. Then, we all discussed and came up with the idea of hiding you down in... Levi's basement." She narrated looking a little awkward, especially when she saw Sakura's expression at the end. Annoyed, disbelief, shocked, gratitude, you name it.

"B-but don't worry! We only put you there when we have expeditions or there are visitors who don't need to know about you. Most of the time, you're in the guest room! It's just that his place was the best option. Since everyone is afraid of him, you know? And he doesn't have any friends except us. Right Levi?!" Hange frantically said, urging the short man to agree with her. But he's just there, glaring daggers at Sakura.

"I'm not thinking about that. I was just overwhelmed by the fact that he was the one who kept me instead of Sandra-san." She trailed, completely unaware of the worried gazes they sent in her direction. "D-don't misunderstand it as something either. I'm thankful for all you did for me...Even though you barely knew me..."

Being one of their strongest weapons is still valid. But in some ways, Sakura can feel that they really care for her this time. If not, then be that way. As long as they are always keeping her safe, she will not do anything to cause them problems.

"Yeah, but you always have to get yourself in trouble." Levi added, way to ruin her mood.

"Ok, that's enough Levi." Erwin stated, glancing in his direction before proceeding a bit towards Sakura to get her attention. Despite his annoyance, Levi chose to walk away from his spot and slump himself on the sofa across from it. "Do you really not remember anything?" He asked, staring intently at her emerald eyes.

"Really." She answered, giving back his stare. He sighed, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Then. How do you know Eren Yeager?" Sakura looked at all the men inside the room and noticed their shouting curiosity in their eyes. Including the quiet guy in the corner whom she just met. She sighed.
