CHAPTER 16
Everyone was asleep, or so she assumed. It was already twelve in the midnight and after thinking so deeply about it, Sakura decided to find their supposed to be 'meeting place'. She doesn't care if it is just a set up made by them, all she cares about is making sure that she will see it with her own eyes, so she won't have to suffer from regret if it is true.
Although she knows her body will become worse and worse as time passes, it will not stop her from going anyway. She could feel her temperature going up at an alarming rate. Her head felt like it was going to break in half and everything around her was spinning that made her feel like throwing up. In short, it feels like she's dying.
After Mrs. Chagnar told her about it earlier, in which she intended to do so from the beginning, the woman just left like nothing happened and checked on her every ten minutes if she was doing well. Half an hour later, Hange came back with medicine in her hand and immediately gave it to Sakura, who took it after thanking her for bothering herself. Now, Sakura is resting on the bed while Hange is soundly sleeping on the floor with a mattress. Hange insisted on keeping watch on her, so if she ever needs anything, she'll be there in no time. But in this state, it seems like she will get more rest than Sakura. But who knows? Maybe she's just pretending to be asleep. It's too dangerous to trust them at this moment, and you can't blame her for being so doubtful of everything.
At one last deep sigh, Sakura slowly got up from bed, but even from the small movement, her vision became black that made her out of balance. She breathed a sigh of relief as she approached the other woman in the room. A bright green light emerged when she placed her hand above Hange's head. This way, she would really be in a deep sleep until tomorrow. It only lasted for a few seconds and she could already feel her breathing becoming ragged as if she had run a mile.
She can't afford to use a clone technique especially in her condition. Besides, this is the best way since there are only two people who she needs to look out for. Giving Hange another look, Sakura put herself together and stood up on her feet, making her way silently to the room of the owner of the house.

Sakura didn't know how much time had already passed since she started her journey. With her steady pace, she doesn't know how far she has been walking because, as much as possible, she doesn't want to overexert herself more from jumping from tree to tree. She cussed under her breath. If only her body cooperated with her today, then it would all be over in just a small amount of time.
Regarding what Imelda has said to her earlier, it is just here within the parameters of the house. So she doesn't need to go any further to the middle of the forest. She also said that she doesn't know the exact location because of being old and being forgettable. As she walks down the dark path, Sakura may be clueless about how much time and how far she has spent, but the fact that she knew that she had already circled the perimeter will always be there. In addition to that, there's a high chance that she's starting from the where she started without any signs of the meeting place.
