Chapter 28

Third-Person's POV (Atsumu)

Atsumu walked inside the court in the back of his future Coach when he suddenly stopped that's why he stopped as well. "Everyone!! Gather up!! We have a new recruit who is a second year who just joined!!"

All the players in the Court slowly lined up in front of their Coach. Atsumu poked his head from The Coach's back then his body slowly followed

"I-I'm Atsumu Miya, 17 years old"

"Oh... I'm Choi Tae Min, I'm the Captain here. You can call me anything you want but most of the players here call me Cap'n Tae"

"O-oh I see... Then I'll just call you Cap'n Tae as well"

"You seem to not be used speaking Korean..."

"I'm Japanese"

"Ahh... I see, So what position do you play in" Atsumu looked at everyone then to his shoes thinking about his position. After a few seconds he looked up with a small smile plastered in his face

"I'm a Wing-Spiker"

"Oh! Another possible Ace"

"Truthfully speaking Setter was my first position"

"Huh? Then why change? Are you bad at Setting?"

"It's not that I'm bad at it. I somehow has a really bad memories with that position"

"Hm... A private matter?"

"Yes..."

"Atsumu!!" The whole club got surprised when a boy came running from the door and hugged Atsumu to the floor with another guy who just watches them

Oikawa looked at everyone before awkwardly standing up and scratching his head. "H-hehe I'm sorry I just got to excited seeing my chi- I mean my friend"

Ushijima helped Atsumu up before slightly patting his head and turned towards everyone else. Oikawa backed away from everyone and clinged unto Ushijima's arms hiding his face

"Are you also gonna join the Team?" Tae Min asked them

"Sadly no... Even if we want to we only have half a year ahead of us before going to a University so we plan on focusing unto studying" Ushijima answered straightly.

"You're doing the same as some of our Sunbaes" Tea Min stated. Atsumu looked at him weirdly before raising his hand

"You're just a second year...?"

"Huh? Yep... Our Sunbaes decided to focus on studying because they plan on going to good universities, And they don't feel the need to be here anymore because they said we would not win any tournaments anyways"

"Oh... How about your ace?"

"Ha ha... The Ace of ours is pretty incompetent as well, I mean when one of our larges game came up he suddenly disappeared and left us on our own"

"Eh?... What kind of Ace would do that? Not that I'm judging him but... That's just not... Right, To leave your team.. I mean"

"I mean what can I do right?"

"..." Atsumu looked at Tae Min's face then to his feet. Their Coach clapped his hands and looked at everyone counting each of them

"Where's the others?"

"They left... No they resigned because they didn't want to play volleyball with this ram anymore"

The whole room got silent before Tae Min smiled bright at everyone and spoke. "Now we have exactly six player we can play on tournaments again! We just need to practice"

His bright smile slowly faded when he sees his teams hopeless faces. Atsumu looked at the whole team before coughing, Everybody in the room looked at him with questioning eyes

"I-i can help with the training of the setter... If you're curious how I can help try searching Atsumu Miya in the Web, That's all I can help with the training... And we can ask Oikawa here to help us training us with the serves as well"

"You'll help us... Right, Mo- I mean Oikawa?" Atsumu asked looking at Oikawa with pleading eyes. Oikawa smiled brightly at Atsumu's face holding it with both of his hands before nodding

"How can i say no to you? Ushijima can help with the spikes. Right?" Oikawa asked Ushijima who looked at Atsumu's cute pleading eyes before closing his eyes tightly as if getting burned because of too much brightness

How can someone be this cute?! His a second year for heavens sake Ushijima!!

"Are you saying you're one of the Miya--"

"Let's just say I am... But let's not talk about anything about that anymore, I'll just teach you about Setting with Oikawa while Ushijima will teach us how to Spike"

"Ahh... Ok, Everyone heard what he said? Now let's start the practice!!"

Atsumu and Oikawa walked towards who Tae Mins pointed out as their setter and started practicing with him. All the while Ushijima's with the spikers teaching them his ways

Tae Min is practicing with the libero receiving and doing a few drills on their own. Somehow Tea Min's eyes always find a way to look at Atsumu sometimes just glancing at him but there is a lot of time his eyes is fixed with Atsumu

Atsumu's eyes looked at his before Atsumu smiled at him then looked towards Oikawa and the setter again. Tae Min felt his cheeks getting warm before he looked away from Atsumu and just focused on his training again Atsumu's face popping in his mind more times than he wished it does

And just like that the first day of Atsumu, Oikawa and Ushijima in that University came to an end.
