Chapter 9

Third-Person's POV

         

Oikawa looked up and saw a few Doctors in front of him. He stood up and stumbled while doigg so and looked at the Doctors

"Where is Atsumu?" The Doctors eyes saddened when they heard the questions

"Mr. Atsumu. He... He passed away" Oikawa froze on the spot

Hah? But they said it was only a few veins and artery... What's happening?

"What kind of joke are you saying?! The Nurse said earlier that it's only a few Veins and Areteries!!" Oikawa asked

"The operation went successful. But when your friend woke up he took a sharp item from the nurse and stabbed himself with it, We tried saving him again but his body can't take all the injuries he acquired. And because of blood-loss as well, His body gave up" The Doctors said.

Oikawa fell to his knees softly and cried again. "Where's his body. I need to see his body!!"

The Doctor helped him up and supported him then they started walking towards a room in the hospital. Oikawa's body all fell again when he saw the large glass

He have seen it before. That glass...

They got in the room with the glass and Oikawa saw the metal bed and a covered body on top of it

He knows where this is going. He knows that this is truth

He slowly walked over then and uncover the bodies face. He fell down to his knees seeing Atsumu's face in it

He cried and cried.

Why did you give up?!

What am I supposed to do now!?

You're the only person who understand me so why is it that you left me!?

I shouldn't have fell asleep then this shouldn't have happened!!

If I just didn't fell asleep

Atsumu... Why did you stop trying!!

Please... Wake up!!

I can't do anything alone right now.

I'm too weak

This is too much for me as well

I don't have the power and will to do this alone

The Doctors couldn't take the scenario in front of them. This may not be the first time they saw someone die but this is the first time someone took their life away and dies

Tears flowed down their eyes aswell

"Atsumu!! I thought I told you we can get through this together!!. Why?! Why did you give up?! Why did you stop trying!? Please tell me... Why?..."

"Atsumu... The pain we are feeling right now. Its temporary but... Why did you chose the permanent solution!!, Atsumu we could have done it together!!"

"Together... Are you in so much pain that you just wanted to give up?... Can't you take the pain anymore?, Are you tired?"

"What could I have done that will change your mind!?"

"Even just one thing. I'm sure there is!!"

"Does calling your parents work?"

"What about your Team mates?"

"Or your brother?"

"What if its Sakusa?"

"I told you that I will not let you give up but why is it that even that I couldn't keep?!"

"Atsumu why did you stop trying?..."

           

Oikawa suddenly wakes up from that dream. "Sir. Sorry, I woke you up because Atsum--

"He didn't die right?! T-that's only a dream right?! P-please... Tell me it is a dream"

"It's only a dream sir. Mr. Atsumu's surgery went good he woke up a minute ago that's why I'm waking you up, We already putted him in a private room. And also call his parents" The Nurse said

"Where's the room!?"

The Nurse smiled before leading the way towards a private room. They got in a room and Oikawa saw Atsumu looking out the window

He suddenly runs towards him and hugged him. "Atsumu!! Are you alright. Do you feel okay!?, Why did you do that?!"

Atsumu smiled bitterly towards Oikawa before looking down

"I didn't want to believe that Sakusa and I broke up. But then it hits me while looking out the moon, I really did break up with him. Then I couldn't take the pain anymore so I run downstairs and just cutted my flesh out of instinct, Then I felt all the pain in my heart disappear and I felt very light but then it returned again so I cutted another one then another. It feels so good that I didn't want to stop"

Oikawa'a eyes watered and just flowed down. "You could have just woke me up"

"What else am I supposed to do? I just want to give up already"

"I told you. We can get through this together, This pain we are feeling right now. It's temporary but the solution you're choosing is a permanent one, So don't ever even think about killing yourself. Please... What am I suppose to do if even you gives up, I'm not as strong as I make myself look like. I can't do this alone, I'm also tired but I can't just give up. There is more to this world that I haven't known yet so i won't ever give up unless I tried it all"

"So please do it all with me... I can't see all of those things alone and lonely. My heart won't make it if that happens!!"

"So please come with me... And see new things with me. Let's do all new things together, And let's also try to love Volleyball again"
