Raadha's POV:
"Name?" I asked Sheetal, who was standing on the stage.
I was sitting in the auditorium taking auditions for the new drama.
"Excuse me?!" she said narrowing her eyes at me.
"I said name?" I repeated myself, this time a little louder.
I could tell just by looking at her expressions that she was super pissed off.
She took a sigh, trying to calm herself down. "Sheetal Dhawan!"
"And what role are you auditioning for?" I asked with a flat face.
I guess I was enjoying this a bit too much.
"Juliet!" she said a little louder, annoyance clearly visible on her face.
"Okay. Go ahead," I said after writing down her name on the register.
She took a deep breath and then acted out a scene from the drama.
"Mmm... You can go. We'll let you know the results," I said when she finished.
She walked out of the auditorium with a flat face while giving me a glare. Karan chuckled softly, sitting beside me while I just smirked and rolled my eyes at her.
"Damn!.... Her face was worth watching!", he said, feeling content.
"She deserves it yarr!.... It's necessary to make her realize that just because her father is the trustee doesn't mean that she'll get everything so easily!.... I hate nepotism!", I said and he nodded slowly in agreement.
Soon, my phone started buzzing in my jeans pocket. It was from an unknown number.
"Hello!?", I said after answering the phone.
"Hey beautiful!... Missed me?"
"Paayal!!", I said happily.
"How are you?!"
"I'm fine and-..... wait a second!", I said while looking at Karan.
"Karan, will you please continue with the auditions alone!.... I need to take this call!", I pleaded.
"Oh come yarr!.... I understand!... Go!...", he said.
"Thank you so much yarr!..... I'll be back soon!", I said happily while leaving.
