As Satvik and Shiv started descending the stairs to the hall, they saw Satvik's father sitting on one of the sofa.

His eyes were glued to his laptop screen which was lying on the table, in front of him.

His father's manager was standing beside him and when he saw Satvik and Shiv coming downstairs, he bent down to tell his boss about them.

Satvik's father looked up, he saw them and his lips curved up in a smile.

He stood up and said while walking closer to them, "Hmm... Looks like my boys are getting more handsome, day by day!"

Satvik and Shiv smiled at his words. "Thanks dad!"

"Thank you uncle!"

Satvik's father, Mr. Vikram Khanna is a business man. He used to go on business trips very often. And since last two months he had gone on one, together with his wife. They had also gone to meet their daughter, Satvik's step sister, who lives at her uncle's house in California due to her school and that is why it took them a little longer to return back home.

When they came back in the morning, Satvik had gone to college and when he returned, his father had gone to office.

He had already met his mother but was meeting his father right now.

"So? Anything special today? Going on a date... or double date?" His dad teased.

"Dad! Come on! We're just going out to hangout with friends." His father and Shiv chuckled at his response.

"You know what Satvik, when I was of your age, I at least had 5 girl friends, well not together. Obviously!" Vikram joked making Satvik and Shiv let out a laugh.

Satvik's father was very friendly with not only Satvik but his friends too and that is why he never used to scold him or lecture him on things instead he used to tease him like a friend.

His father took a small sigh before keeping his hand on Satvik's shoulder. "Always keep smiling and laughing like this... I hate seeing you worried or frowning.... You know after 5 years from now, you might have to get married and then, you'll have responsibilities, kids and much more. But right now, you are free, you can make girl friends, party hard, get drunk with your friends, hangout with your friends, go on trips, have night outs and so much more. So, I want you to live your life fully while you are young. And always remember, if ever in problem, your Dad is always there for you.... There should be no room in your life for tension or worry.... Okay!"

Satvik smiled at his father's words before nodding in response. He knew that he has got the best father in the world.

"And the same goes for you too okay!" Shiv smiled and nodded.

"So tell me... Did you find any girl in my absence?" His father asked, enthusiastically.

"Dad!"

"Well... excuse me, sorry to interrupt this beautiful conversation but uncle you don't have to worry about it at all because I'm on a mission to find him a new girl friend and I promise I'll find him the best one."

"That's like my boy! Only you understand my feelings. Okay, anyways I won't waste much of your time, you both can go and enjoy.. and Shiv... best of luck!"

"Thank you so much, uncle!"

"Dad!"

"Come on now. Go, go, go, go!"  His father said while pushing them.

'Bye!' Satvik and Shiv said together while walking away.

"Bye! Have fun!" His father said smiling and waving at them.

Satvik's POV:

"Bro, we'll just be back from the washroom!" Shiv said while getting up, making me look up at him and Karan.

"Hmm... Wait, I'm also coming!" I said before trying to quickly finish the last sip of my beer.

As I kept the beer bottle on the table and was about to get up, they both yelled together.

"NOOO!" I narrowed my eyes at them, giving a questioning look.

"We mean you can't come with us because someone has to sit here and reserve the seats or someone else might take it. And also, what if someone messes with our food?" He said making me nod my head in agreement. Someone messing with my food is something I cannot stand.

"Hmm.... Okay!... Come soon!" I told them before they left.

"Something is fishy.... They are acting weird.... Shiv is up to something, I can sense it!" I murmured to myself while eating my pizza.

I was busy with my thoughts when suddenly a girl came and stood in front of me. I looked up at the tall girl standing in front of me, giving me a dazzling smile.

I narrowed my eyes as I recognized her from yesterday. "Oh hey!"

"Hi! May I sit here?" she asked me.

"Sure.", I said and continued when she sat down, "So...... Another story?" I teased.

She shut her eyes in embarrassment. "Noo... Just to say hi." she said with a smile.

"I'm just kidding.... Don't mind!"

"Not at all.... I met your friends near the bar, so I just assumed that you would be here too and I was right."

"Oh!... And, what about you? Alone again?"

"No, but a yes."

"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked, perplexed.

"Actually, I'm here with my friend and her boyfriend. So basically, I'm third wheeling and that is why I'm alone and not alone at the same time."

"Ohh! That's awkward."

"No, not at all!... It's her first date so she brought me because she was nervous."

"Oh!"

"Yeah... But then I thought that I should give them some privacy, so I left from there for a little while... I'm sure she's going to kill me later for this but yeah.."

"Oh!.. It's okay! You can stay here with us if you feel awkward with them, we would not mind." The nicer side of me spoke before I could even ponder over, what I said.
