Yashvi's POV:
The dance practice with the group was a disaster. My assumption that it will help me feel better turned out to be wrong. First, I can't dance! I am only doing this for Rishab, because I know he would want me to. Second, everyone kept asking me why Satvik had not come for the practice. And third, I had to practice alone since my partner is Satvik.
Rishab's wedding had to be something that would make me feel the greatest happiness in the world but this is not what I came here for. Everything is so messed up and I don't know what to do about it. And like my life was not already hard enough, Shiv kept giving me stares in between. No smile. No emotions. Just blank face, as if saying, "you are the reason behind everything wrong happening in this world."
"Are you okay?" Kaajal Di asked concerned as the song As I'll Ever Be by Chaz Cardigan played on loop for the fifth time. But I was too consumed by my thoughts to realize it.
"Yashvi!" I was snapped out of my thoughts when Rishab called me.
"Yeah!" I replied with a blank face.
Rishab gave Kaajal Di a look before saying, "Is something bothering you?"
"Huh!... No, not at all!" I lied while pausing the music on my phone.
"You sure?" Rishab asked raising his eyebrows, totally not convinced by my answer.
"Yeah!" I tried to look as confident as I could. There was a moment of silence before Kaajal Di spoke.
"Okay, it's almost eight. I think we should go get dinner." Kaajal Di said, clearly trying to change the subject. I feel she understood that I didn't want to talk about whatever was bothering me, and I was really thankful for that.
Rishab kept staring at me suspiciously for a few seconds before finally saying, "Yeah, let's go."
They both stood up and started walking down the stairs from the rooftop gazebo. I quietly followed them, feeling relieved that Rishab didn't push me further to tell him the truth. I got a feeling that he wanted me to tell him but thankfully for some reason he decided to let go.

After having dinner with my parents, I sat alone by the swimming pool with my legs in the water. This resort had such a peaceful, calming and soothing vibe, especially at night but yet my heart and mind were not at peace at all. And I don't know who to blame for that. My destiny, Tara, Shiv or myself.
After contemplating a lot, I picked up my phone and started looking at the pictures of me and Satvik. So many memories were brought back by those pictures making me feel even more gloomy. Definitely, it was a bad idea.
