Your eyes turned white for a few seconds, as you played with the fire from a candle. You smiled for yourself. You loved your powers to control the elements: water, fire, air and dirt. You were a fairy, no not one of those beautiful golden eyed fairies with small handsome wings. You were just a normal girl with (what most people called) emo hair and dark sad looking eyes. You made the flame dance for you, and your eyes turned white. That was the only thing that was hard to hide, but sunglasses usually worked. 

Your phone rang and shadows die filled your headphones. “Hey (y/n)” a well-known voice said. “Hey Ash” you smiled and looked out of your window. “Do you want to come over? Andy wants to see the new batman movie, you know him, that’s just how he is. The other guys is coming to.” He asked and laughed at the last comment, he knew about your crush, and he would tease you with it forever. To tell the truth, he looked through your phone and found lots of pictures of the band but mostly one person. CC was your best friend, but you wished, that he was so much more than that. “So are you coming?” Ashley asked. “Yea of course I’ll be there as soon as possible” you said and hung up. You styled your hair and put on some makeup.

Fifteen minutes later you stood in front of Ashley’s door. You sighed and took of your sunglasses. Ashley opened the door and hugged you. “He is already here” he whispered in your ear. “Oh, fuck you Ash” you murmured and walked past him. He laughed and closed the door behind you. The guys were already sitting comfortable around the coffee table. CC stood up and hugged you, when he saw you. You said hi to the other guys and sat down beside CC in the couch. Andy put on the movie and Ashley came with popcorn and other snacks.

Quickly you discovered a candle on the table; it had a small pulsing flame. You found your sunglasses and put them on. “Why are you wearing sunglasses (y/n)?” CC asked and looked at you. “Uhm… I have something with my eye… It’s those quick-changing pictures in the movie…” you lied and looked at the flame. You made the flame do small tricks with without anyone noticed it. Your eyes changed from white to normal to white a lot of times.

You forgot all about the other guys and began making wilder tricks. You sat your hand down to the flame and made it split around your hand. “What are you doing (y/n); you will burn your hands!” CC said and took your hand away from the flames. Your sunglasses fell off, and he was looking directly into your white eyes. “Wow what is going on?” he said and stood up startled. Your eyes turned normal, and you looked down. The other guys stared at you. “What?!” you said knowing that they saw your mistake. Andy turned off the movie.

“What was happening?” CC asked and looked at you. “It’s okay I’m not some weird psyco with white eyes okay?” you said annoyed. “I’m fairy” you murmured. “A what?” CC asked and sat down again. “An element fairy” you said and looked into the flame. You formed a heart of the flame and your eyes turned white again. “Wow” CC said and looked at the heart that slowly burnt down.  “Who was that for?” Ashley teased, and you gave him the you-are-dead look. “Listen guys I’m not scary, I mean maybe I am but I won’t hurt anyone.” You said and looked at their frightened faces. You told them all about your powers, and they seemed to calm down a bit. “So it’s not just fire?” Jake asked. You shook your head and took a glass of water. You made it fly up in the air, and your eyes were white, when you saw their reflection in the window.

You made to faces kissing in the flame. You looked quickly at CC. Ashley noticed. “Don’t worry he like you too” he teased, before you made a hand of fire that reached after him. But was it true? Did CC really like you more than a friend? Accidently you made CCs face in the flame. Ashley laughed so hard, that he fell down from the couch, without anyone (except you) knowing why. “Ash…” you growled and blushed. Sometimes the fire controlled you, more than you controlled it. Without realizing it you made a new heart in the fire. Your eyes turned white and your face a shade of pink. “I need air” you murmured and walked outside.

You made the air destroy a pair of mailboxes and sat down on the pavement. A tear fell down your cheek, and you buried your head in your hands. Why couldn’t you control the fire, when he was near? You tried to stay calm, but you knew, you revealed too much. “(y/n)?” a voice said and you looked up. CC sat down beside you on and hugged you with one arm. “Why are you crying?” he asked and wiped a tear away from your face. You shook your head, you couldn’t just tell him, that you loved him, and you fooled yourself. “Was it… real?” he asked and looked you in the eyes. You didn’t answer. “I hope it was” he said slowly. “Really?” you asked and smiled. He nodded, “I’ve always like you but… I was too scared to tell you. I didn’t want to jeopardize our friendship” he said and smiled nervously. “Ash said that… you liked me” he murmured. “God dammit Ash” you said and smiled. He leaned over to kiss you and you melted into his lips. CC took your hand and walked inside. “I kissed a fairy” he smiled nervously.
