You woke up to a town covered in snow. It was storming outside, and the snow hammered against your window. What a great birthday. You opened the door and peeked outside, the snow where at least 1 foot deep and the road weren’t cleared. Great, you thought just as you heard a loud bang. The light went out and you whined at the sudden darkness. You heard your phone ringing and fumbled into your kitchen. “(Y/n)” you answered, when you found your phone. “Hey, I just wanted to say that we’re closed down today, so you don’t have to come” your boss said, you sighed inside. “Okay thank you for calling” you said and hung up. You found your jacket and your booths and made it outside. You slowly made your way to the closest open café. No one except the staff was in there. You sat down at your usual table and ordered a coffee. What a boring birthday. Nobody had called or texted you yet possibly of the failing internet.

The door opened and a man stepped inside. He took of his jacket and smiled at you. “A coffee for me, and a cupcake for the lovely young lady at that table” he said and pointed at you. You blushed lightly and the man sat down at your table. “So who do I have the honor of giving a cupcake?” the man asked with a breathtaking smile. “(Y/n)” you smiled. You couldn’t not notice his long black hair and brown eyes. “A pleasure, my name is Ashley, nice to meet you” he said and smiled adorably. You sighed and took another sip of your coffee. “Is anything wrong?” Ashley asked. “It just that, it’s my birthday today, but nobody has texted or called me” you sighed. “Oh happy birthday then” he said and laughed nervously. That was when you noticed it. “Omg” you said and covered your mouth. “You are Ashley Purdy… from Black Veil Brides” you muttered awkwardly. He nodded and chuckled. “And you are very adorable” he said, which made you blush.
