You sighed and looked at your phone. Still so long time to you could get away from school and problems. Your phone rang, and you picked it up. "(Y/n)" you said and wondered who would call you at this time. "Hey (y/n) happy birthday yesterday" you heard Andy say, and you smiled. Andy was your best friend, even though he was seven years older than you. He was also your only friend. "You already said happy birthday twenty times yesterday" you laughed, and he sighed. "But I have to say it hundred times so..." he said, and you laughed. "So I was thinking, maybe I could pick you up after school, and then we could do whatever you want to" he suggested as somebody pushed you from behind. "(Y/n)? Are you okay?" Andy asked and you sighed. "Yeah I'm fine" you said, "I would love to" you both said goodbye, and you hung up. "Isn't that guy like eight years older than you?" someone said behind you. "Seven" you murmured, you knew what people thought about you, and you didn't want to get into trouble. "It's just so perverse Ew" someone said, and you looked down with tears in your eyes.

--- Some hours later ---

"So want a smoothie or something?" Andy asked and parked the car. You didn't answer but just followed him. After ordering something for you both Andy looked at you. "Why are you so quiet (y/n)?" he asked, and you sighed. "Nothing just tired" you lied, and he sighed. "Look it's the perverse couple over there" you heard someone shout. "What the..." Andy said and rolled his eyes. A few guys came over to you. "They are from my school" you murmured to Andy. "So we have this little bitch making out with a guy who is eight years older than her." One of them said, and you felt tears coming. "Seven" Andy murmured but no one noticed.

The tallest of the guys (who were still not as tall as Andy) pushed you, and you staggered backwards. "Hey what do you think you little shits are doing?" Andy said and helped you. "Oh shut up Goth" one of them said, and Andy had a hard time not laughing. "Goth?" he said and smiled. "You are so fucking perverse, you only want to use her, and she deserves it" one of them spit and pushed you before leaving. You fell, and a pain ran through your arm, and Andy helped you up. "I think you are bleeding, we better remove your sleeve" he said and began to roll up your sleeve.

"No..." you tried, but it was too late. Andy gasped, when he saw the scars and gashes on your arm. "(y/n)...?" he said and looked at you. "Why?" he asked helping you to his car. "Sorry" you said, and a tear fell down your cheek. "We better get you home" he said, but you shook your head. "I don't want to go home" you said, and he hugged you. "Alright then" he said and started the car. "(Y/n)?" Andy asked after driving a few minutes. "Yes" you answered, there was steal tears running down your cheek, but you didn't want him to see. "Why?" he asked, and you both just stared out of each window. "You have been my friend for ages but..." you sighed, "you are my only friend, but you can't spend all your time with me" you wiped the tears away from you cheek and looked down.

Andy parked the car and stared at you. "(y/n)... don't say that you did that to yourself because... I wasn't there..." he said and walked out to open the door for you. He looked at you for a moment before lifting you up and carrying you into his apartment. He laid you on the couch and sat down beside you. "Don't ever do that again please" he said, and you nodded. "I can't take to see you in pain" he said and looked you in the eyes. He wiped a tear away from your cheek and smiled. "Don't do that to yourself" his voice was thick, and you knew, he meant it. "Tonight I have a place I want to show you" he smiled.

The clock hit midnight, and Andy took on his jacket. "Where are we going?" you asked and looked at him. You took your own jacket and boots on. "Wait and see" he answered and locked the door after you. You sat in the car and looked around. There was dark around you, and everything was quiet. You shivered. "Is there something wrong?" Andy asked, as he sat down beside you. "Uhm...no" you said and looked frightened at shadows from the cars light. "It would be nice to know where we are going" you muttered, while all horror movies ran through your head. "Don't worry (y/n)" Andy said and looked at you, his smile was caring and cute, and you knew he was your best friend.

Andy parked the car, and you looked around. An old lamppost lightened up the parking space. You were surrounded by trees and darkness. You shuddered. "What are we doing here Andy?" you asked and looked nervously around. For a short second you saw someone got murdered and dragged into the woods in your mind. You shuddered again. "Don't worry (y/n)" Andy said and put his arm around you. You walked for a while in silence, until you saw a beautiful lake near. Andy showed you a bench, and you sat down beside each other. Small fireflies flew lazy around over the lake.

"All I want is for you to be happy" Andy whispered and hugged you. He kissed your forehead and smiled. "You are my best friend Andy" you said, and after sometime all the horror movies disappeared from your mind. A dragonfly landed on the bench beside you. "Oh look a dragonfly" Andy whispered loudly. You giggled at him. "God I love those creatures" Andy said and laughed. "They are just like you free and beautiful" he kissed your forehead again, and you blushed. "(Y/n)?" Andy asked all of a sudden. "Will you promise to always call if you need me?" he wanted to know, you nodded and smiled. "I don't want you to hurt yourself, my best friend can't do such things to herself" he smiled and hugged you tightly. "Andy. Can't. Breed." You panted. He released you from the hug and looked you in the eyes. "Andy I love you, you are my best friend" you said and looked at him. "I love you (y/n), please don't hurt yourself, do it for me" he said with a smile.
