Apple cake

5 Tbsp unsalted butter

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

3/4 cup flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 apple

1. Leave the butter out to soften. After it soft, put it in a bowl with the sugar and stir.

2. Break the eggs into a separate bowl and add them a little at a time to the bowl from step 1.

3. Sift the flour and the baking powder in the bowl from step 1 and stir.

4. Cut the apple into 8 pieces. Peel off the skin and remove the core.

5. Lay wax paper in a cake pan and pour the mixture from step 3.

6. Flatten  the surface and lay out the apple slices on top. Bake it in the oven preheated to 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes. Poke toothpick in it to check it's done.
