Flan cake

Make a cake about 7 inch in diameter

Flan: 2 eggs

2 tbsp sugar

3/4 cup milk

A dash of vanilla extract

Caramel sauce: 3 tbsp sugar

1/4 cup water

Sponge cake: 2 eggs

4 tbsp sugar

1/2 cup AP flour

1.First make the flan mixture. A small sauce pan, add the milk and sugar and cook over low heat. While making sure it doesn't boil, melt the sugar. Remove pan from heat, when cool add vanilla .

2. Now the caramel sauce. And a different sauce pan at the sugar and cook over low heat. Mix with a wooden spatula until it turns golden brown. Turn off the heat and add water, stir quickly. Make sure the water doesn't splash up on the pan. Pour into a cake pan before hardens.

3. In a bowl, mix the eggs and then cool make sure from step one then pour the strainer into a cake pan.

4.Now will make the sponge cake. Add the eggs and sugar into a bowl and use a hand mixer to blend until the mixture forms stiff peaks.

5. Sift the flour and to the mixture from stuff for and mix with a wooden spatula.

6.Whole mixture of stuff five on top of the mixture in the cake pan from step three. Placed the cake pan into a steamer. Make sure you don't burn yourself with the steamer. Steam for about 20 minutes and done when you poke toothpick in it and a toothpick comes out clean.

7.Cool, then placed in the refrigerator once chilled, you can take a butter knife and use it to separate the cake from the cake pan. Flip it over onto a plate and remove the pan.
