Black sesame Castella

Make 1 6x3 inch castella

2/3 cup sifted flour

2 tsp baking powder

2 eggs

3 tbsp sugar

5 tbsp back sesame (crushed)

( Cut out wax paper to cover the sides and bottom of the cake pan and put a lot of water in a steamer and have it ready over medium heat.)

1. Soft the flour and baking powder together.

2. Put the egg white in a bowl and mix until it stands up. It'll be easy and fast if you use a hand mixer.

3. Add egg yolk and sugar to the bowl from step 2 and whisk.

4. Add black sesame's and the mixture. One to the bowl from step three. Mix well.

5. Pour the dough into the pan. Make sure it's even. Play is it in a steamer. Make sure you stop the heat and don't burn yourself. See for 15 minutes. Is done if you poke a toothpick in it and it comes out clean.
