Thirty-Third

See how fast time is moving? I'm here for almost one and a half-month now.

No one apologized. No one explained. Everything went back to normal like nothing happened. He didn't go back to the office that day and the next, we just both act normal. We didn't discuss things again as we both know we'll lose it eventually and shout at each other again.

Bianka? I don't know what happened to her. I don't know what happened to her and Joong. I haven't seen her here inside the office after that day. Maybe she's now annoyed at me, maybe she isn't. Just let her feel what she wants to feel.

"The good news is Mr. Jeorge wants you to be the Engineer of the house he's planning to build!!" I've heard Engr. Ben excitedly exclaimed that to Joong who's now smiling so wide too.

I am busy photocopying the papers he asked me but ofcourse, my ears are in their conversation. Nosy, right?

"Mr. Jeorge Finkler, you mean?" Joong asked but the smile in his face won't vanish as if he's confirming it to hisself already.

Finkler? I think I've heard that somewhere..

"Chai!! He's a good client. He got a lot of connections and now, he's choosing you as his Engineer. Why is luck always in your side, man?!" Engr. Ben hit Joong's arm with a rolled paper slightly and the latter just laughed.

Looks like someone is so happy because of his new project.

"Right, I'll contact him immediately" Joong nodded at him while grabbing his phone but Engr. Ben stopped him.

"He's actually expecting you at 7 pm later tonight in his office" Engr. Ben awkwardly stated as he looks so defensive after "What? I know you wouldn't refuse that offer so I immediately assured him that you'll accept it!!" Raising his hand as if surrendering to Joong who's now having his sarcastic smirk.

"Alright, thank you man"

Engr. Ben just gave him a thumbs up before he walks out of the room and that's the time when I approach Joong's table to put there the copies of what he's asking for.

"Can you stay late tonight? 'Til let's assume 10 pm?" He suddenly asked.

That's way too far from my time out!! And I'm just an intern. Isn't that too much?

"I just need someone to accompany me later while having a talk with Mr. Finkler, he's a big client and I'm a bit nervous. But if you're not free and got plans already then it's fine, I can go alone" he added, pulling out his words.

"I can accompany you, Engineer" I smiled a bit upon deciding.

Well, just a moral support? He seems happy and nervous at the same time and also, he won't ask for my assistance if he doesn't need it right?

"Thank you. You can.. sleep for now? It's past five, you should atleast sleep so you can stay up until late" he instructed.

Sometimes, I feel so lucky too to be under his supervision. Do you know any intern who's allowed to sleep in his work? Only me!!

I am so blessed here.

But I can't sleep today. It's past five and he have to meet his client at 7 pm right? I can't take a sleep with that short time frame. We might be leaving at past six.
