Fourteenth

The next day, even after fighting with Fluke, I still feel very light. I still feel good and I'm not worrying about something.

It feels good that I'm finally decided. It feels good that I'm not being bugged by my worries anymore.

This time, I will refuse to believe stories. This time, I'll trust my insticts, I'll trust my own eyes and I'll trust my feelings.

He's not like what we all thought, he's like how I first met him. That's what I will always remember now. He is the same Chen that I met and not the Joong that everyone knows.

"You look glowing, I wonder why?" Gun commented as he neared his face on mine. Here we go again with this detective bitch!!

"It's my skincare!! I know where will you head on, you'll end up creating stories and stuffs again so I'm telling you, stop" I answered his wonders.

"We're friends but you always hide things from me. Full of secrets, that will be revealed soon!!" He teased. That caught me, I can't suddenly ride in his jokes, especially that one.

It's my guilt that made me think he's talking about a different thing. Yeah, I'm still feeling guilty after I've decided. I can't just easily stop it from bugging me but I can't just easily confess it. You know it's hard.

"T-there's really nothing!!" I defended just so I can have an answer for him. I even smiled a bit.

"Suspicious smile. If you say so.. then I'm gonna ask Joong instead. Be fast!! They're surely starving now while waiting for their muses" Gun stated and I have him pulling me towards the cafeteria.

When we arrived and spotted the table that the boys occupied, I immediately noticed a thing. Someone's missing. Not just someone, it's my someone.

"Where's Joong?" I asked the moment I occupied the seat beside Krist. Everyone furrowed their brows after hearing me.

"He didn't informed you?" Nanon asked in a surprised manner.

"Informed what? Where is he?" Gun asked too. Everyone is having their brows furrowed as we stare at each other.

"We really don't know. I thought he told Nine why he didn't show up in our classes for today that's why we didn't bother to text or call him" Krist answered having the other two to agree on him.

"Didn't you receive even a text from him? Check your phone" Off instructed that I immediately followed. Checking my phone, there isn't a new notification. I even checked my inbox to see if I just missed it but there's really none.

My heartbeat's pace went fast for an unknown reason. I just gave them a nothing gesture, my heart's beatings are that fast that it's bothering me, I can't even utter words.

If he have some errands to run, or even if he have none, he always text me. Informing me whatever he'll do even if he knows that I can't reply sometimes.

I find it weird that I haven't receive a text message from him now.

All of us just kept on staring at each other, thinking silently on Joong's mysterious disappearance.

"Aren't your house just beside each other? How come you guys didn't go to university together?" I asked when I suddenly remembered that thing. They should know if one is skipping the class because their house are literally just beside each other, how come they don't have an idea?!
