Forty-Fourth

[Teeee ruuuukkkk!!!!]

Joong's sweet and loud shouts from the other line made me laugh. It's already 10 am and I am just sitting at the couch, waiting for the time to pass and take Joong home.

"What's with the sweet endearment again?" I answered, lowering the television's volume so I can hear him clearly.

[I'm so tired from my early meetinggggggg~ oiiiiiii, headacheeee] he still didn't put down his tone which made me imagine that he's now acting cute and pouting as he talk to me.

What a baby?!

"And? What should I do?" I asked him as if I still don't have an idea.

Oh come on!! We've been living together for almost half a year now!! He'll surely ask me to go at his office, see him and stay with him as if I'm still his intern.

[Will my sweet, caring and loving boyfriend come to see me today?~ I need energy packs!!]

See? I giggled because of his child-like tone and I heard his laughters too.

"Sweet lips. Fine!! But I need to fix myself first, what do you want to eat for lunch? I'll cook it!!" I energetically stated as I stood up to stretch myself.

[Hmmm... you?]

"Stop me with that double meaning answers, alright, I'll be the one to decide what to cook now" I answered, not falling for his trap to make me shy.

I heard another set of chuckles from the other line. Here he is being a happy kiddo because of his dirty mind again.

[But.. can I have both meaning later?] He playfully asked.

"I'll hang up now and focus on your work!! Byebye, love you!!"

I immediately drop the call without waiting for him to answer. He's on his work but his brain is in another level!!

Okay but what will I cook?

We only have chicken and pork here, I really need to visit a grocery store later.

"Should I just fry it?" I asked myself as I pull out the chicken from the meat case.

But Joong is tired from his work, isn't a fried meal draining to eat?

"But what else can I cook?"

Yeah, this is the most stressful part of the day. Thinking what to cook for Joong.

"Even if he already said that he'll eat whatever I cook, I still need to prepare the best for him" I murmured to myself again as I grab some gingers, onion and tamarind powder.

It took me more than half an hour to finish cooking the Chicken with Sour Tamarind Soup. Alright, it's not that bad!! It's delicious because I cooked it!!

"And it's made with love and effort. Goodjob Nine, you can pass as a chef" I murmured proudly again as I go back to my room, leaving the chicken to have it cooled.

I prepared myself inside. I think I took about 40 minutes to fix myself before going downstairs again to place the chicken and rice inside the two different containers.
